A monument to commemorate the testimony of the Eight Witnesses of the Book of Mormon, located 10 minutes southwest of Liberty, MIssouri. The graves of two of the Eight Witnesses—Christian Whitmer and Peter Whitmer Jr.—are at the site. The monument provides information about two events that occurred on this land: the discharging of Zion’s Camp and the calling of early Church leaders in Missouri.

    It's close to the road and is a memorial for four different events in LDS Church history.

    It is entirely fenced in, but walk along the fence until you find the gate. It's a lovely little cemetery and the monument is beautiful
