  I absolutely love this hotel! From the moment I arrived, Shamika and Janelle made the check-in experience seamless, welcoming, and genuinely warm. Their professionalism and friendliness immediately set the tone for a great stay. The hotel itself is spotless, modern, and beautifully maintained. Everything feels fresh and thoughtfully designed. The location is another huge plus — it’s within easy walking distance to great bars and restaurants, and it’s incredibly convenient for getting anywhere in the Kansas City area. I truly can’t recommend this hotel enough. Every stay here has been exceptional, and I look forward to coming back each time. An outstanding experience all around!

  Hotel Westport is a hidden gem. Rooms are great, staff and service is excellent. The hotel has a restaurant and the dinner was great (especially since I didn't want to go out). When I'm back in KC, I'll stay here again. At the time of my booking, it was the best price in town.

  I cannot tell you how surprised we were of this hotel. Thoroughly impressed... with literally EVERYTHING! Front desk ladies were so kind and helpful! Just outstanding people to just chat and talk to. The room! Amazing room! Well thoughtful designed, and had space for everything! It was definitely not cramped by any means. Great sleep from the felt-like-new bed. Extremely clean! Breakfast! Kevin is an outstanding chef! The breakfast menu wasn't just a food menu. Each plate was a visible display of creativity, with Kevin's developed, tried and true flavors and style. I looked forward each morning to get down there for breakfast. I left Kansas City, but will be back in April for three weeks...definitely will be back there for Kevin's breakfast! One thing... he makes this incredibly delicious blueberry muffin from scratch. If you stay there and not get that muffin, or try the food...go ahead and feel really bad for missing out on something really good. Blue! There's a color theme of blue throughout the entire building. But the way this unique blue color was inserted on the outside of the hotel, to the front lobby and entry way, to the elevators, to the front entry of the elevator of each floor, to the hallway and then to each room. The blue design worked so well throughout the entire place, but still didn't feel overwhelming at all. Well done to whoever designed this hotel. If I had time to stay again before or after my business in KC,I would definitely come back to this place. Definitely Recommend. Note: while there was a bar restaurant across the parking lot, we never ate there. So I can't comment on the food or availability.

  The hotel was clean and felt like home. What I was most impressed with was the staff. So friendly and welcoming. I ate breakfast both days of my stay here. Kevin the head cook was super friendly and the food was on point. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

  I have stayed in my fair share of hotels. You start to expect the same thing everywhere you go. The Hotel Westport blows that expectation out of the water. From darker color of the furnishings and rooms with the mix of eclectic with almost an Edgar Allan Poe feel to the management team who is always friendly and interacts with the guests, everything just feels...right. I have never had a bad stay there. And Kevin, in the onsite restaurant makes the BEST French toast....no syrup necessary, just add the fresh fruit. It has become our hotel of choice EVERYTIME we will be returning to Kansas City!!
