- CWCodi WarrenDec 14, 20252.0While the hotel itself is pretty nice, we had a corner king suite (224) was anything but. They had zero hand soap for us, no trash bins and no coffee maker. While those alone are minimal things, what really made this an unpleasant experience was the fact that our heater didn’t work (room was a brisk 58 degrees) and there weren’t any curtains aside from the privacy shades (which aren’t even that private). We contacted to hotel, and while they tried to accommodate the issue wasn’t fixed by the time we left. Worst two nights sleep of our life. They were nice enough to refund, but did mention that they were aware that the room had no curtains! Why even make it bookable?

One of the two elevators was down, and the one that worked moved at the speed of regret. No trash can in the room at all. The body wash dispenser in the shower was bone-dry. For a hotel that tries to present itself as upscale, these are basic things they shouldn’t be missing. I slept fine, but at 6’1” my legs hung off the bed like I was in a kid’s bunk. Definitely not my “home away from home.” This place has a long way to go before it earns the reputation it’s trying to ride on.
- MTMind Set On TravelDec 5, 20255.0A very nice visit to a historic hotel which has been updated. Next to the Savoy Grill, The Savoy has all updated rooms and a nice workout facility. We were upgraded to a 2 room king bed suite which gave us some extra room to relax in. Loved the terrycloth robes to use after a warm shower. Walking distance to many restaurants.

I am now without a hotel and unable to get rest before a work conference. Hotel staff was not accommodating and could not offer me a clean room therefore cancelled my booking entirely. In 30 years I have never had a worse hotel experience. This hotel should 2 star max - a 4 star rating with such appauling service is unacceptable
