Housed in the beautifully renovated 1930s-era Brookfield Building which held ticket offices for various train stations, the Hotel Indigo Kansas City Downtown offers a reminder of the rail lines that put this city on the map. As a nod to this 12-story tower's past, our 118 guest rooms are styled with travel-themed touches — including postcard and postmark designs in rooms — and the lobby features a train mural. You can start the day with a cup of locally-brewed Parisi coffee before heading out to must-see spots like Union Station, the Arvest Bank Theater, legendary jazz clubs and world-class restaurants just steps from the hotel.

Great hotel in the power & light district. The hotel was very trendy & the room was perfect. The snack area choices were good with hot & cold options & even some nice popsicles. There is a restaurant/bar attached for all dining needs. There was a nice lounger in the room & a great desk area for any working you might have to do. The bathroom was clean & modern & the shampoo, conditioner & body wash were high quality & all smelled great! The caring touches they added included a nice flower accent on the toilet paper roll. Parking garage parking is required or they do have valet for $40. Parking garage was cheaper if you don't mind the short walk.

My wife and I walked in to ask about getting a room and seeing if they had any last minute deals and everyone at the counter was extremely rude and very short with us and said “sorry we can’t do anything” no smiles no small talk no welcome greeting. We walked next door to the Hotel Phillips. Lady at the front desk was very warm and welcoming. We ended up paying the same price but the experience and employees were so amazing. Hotel Indigo was awful.

The hotel room was very nicely decorated. Room were good size and the bed was comfortable. The only issue was the bathroom shower had no water pressure at all. I could barely get the soap out of my hair. Front desk people were very nice as well as valet.

Double lock your doors at all times.
Someone with room key entered our room 5am in the morning and retrieved hearing me screaming.
Needless to say why that is a serious safety issue - how many people have access to our room?? Given the benefit of doubt, say it was an honest mistake by house keeping services - why the hell they need to get in the room with guest, without a knock, AT 5AM ????????
