This stay was genuinely disappointing and not worth the $150 price tag. While the breakfast was genuinely good—a solid and tasty start to the day—the room itself was a catalogue of maintenance failures and frustrating policies.
The basic comfort elements were missing. The bathroom sink simply refused to drain, and the shower was completely empty of body wash. Beyond that, the room felt neglected: the curtains were visibly dirty, and the door knobs felt loose or broken, making the doors unreliable. Worst of all was the noise; the AC fan was so loud it made sleeping difficult.
The issues extended to customer service and pricing transparency. After paying $150 for the room, they tried to slap an extra $13 charge on for parking. I was shocked, as this was not mentioned anywhere on Hotels.com where I booked. Thankfully, after I brought this up, the representative removed the charge, but the initial attempt and the ensuing argument about parking on their property (where the rep stated it was my responsibility wherever I park) was a frustrating end to the stay.
Unfortunately, a decent breakfast can't compensate for a poor night's sleep and multiple maintenance issues paired with unhelpful staff. I cannot recommend this hotel at this price point.

I've stayed here multiple times in the past and have been pleased overall. This last stay, management has implemented a "pay for parking" system which is nothing but a money grab. I will not stay here again.

The air conditioning system used for heating is extremely loud- you cannot rest without ear plugs and even using those it is pretty uncomfortable, very loud. The insulation is very low- temperature drops in 10 minutes with 5 degrees- windows are basically just decorations. The pictures are pretty depressive. I don’t even understand- when did the purpose of making the guests feel relaxed even with art on the walls ceased to exist? Hotels need to invest in uplifting art pieces. Other than that- I like the quality of the furniture even if it is outdated it is still pretty comfortable and not depressing- light brown colors, no grey! But the service, hospitality level is definitely dropped to like 5 ..out of 10 on a 10 scale.. I visited Homewood suites North Carolina Greensboro- wrote a review- it is a 10, out of 10! Worth visiting! I also visited the Springfield Homewood, that one was a 7 on the scale of feeling relaxed and comfy because of cleanliness, hospitality and service. In general I really like Homewood Suites anywhere but they definitely need to be more hospitable and please, kindly invest in uplifting pictures on the walls. Thank you.

Toilet was visibly dirty (thankfully I travel with disinfectant wipes) and there was hair on the hand towels. My room door barely closed and locked. It seemed like someone had kicked it open sometime before. The bed frame is too large and sticks out on the bedside causing you to bump into it with your shin (you'll only do that once, OUCH). Hotel and room had a scent I can't describe but it wasn't pleasant. This is by far the worst Homewood Suites I have ever stayed at. Overpriced for what you get. Additionally they charge you $13 to park overnight and YOU have to register your plate through a QR code or website (super inconvenient). I've stayed at Hilton Sparks for nearly half the price and have had better experiences. Hilton should be ashamed of the quality or the lack thereof this hotel brings to its valued gold honors members.

1. Beds are comfy, that's the only pro.
2. Stink bugs, bugs that stink if smashed, colonies of them, only days after pest control finished servicing Homewood Suites.
3. Curtains in second room, has stains on them of brown material in them.
4. Streets outside are potholes like a Battlefield. You have to drive like a drunk to miss the axle and tire breakers.
We will steer clear of this Homewood Suite location.
