They whole staff is very friendly. Rooms were very clean and beds were really comfortable. I stayed in a king studio suite room. The bed was huge and comfy. There was also a living room area with pullout couch. There was a curtain that you could pullout to separate the bed and living area which I thought was nice. Our room also had a full fridge, dishwasher, microwave and sink. This kitchen area is useful if you are a family like ours that need storage for our drinks and snacks lol. The tvs in the rooms had Netflix, HBO, Disney+, paramount... basically most of the streaming channels. I appreciated this since I didnt have to use my firestick to catch up on my shows. The breakfast is your standard continental style but it was hot and fresh. Love that the hotel is literally 7min drive from airport. And they offer a free shuttle. I did not use the gym or indoor pool but did peek in and they were clean and functional. This hotel is literally a home away from home. Other than the hotel being extremely clean and comfortable, the staff were so accommodating and friendly. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Not a very pleasant experience here. The room was super cold, we had to listen to a whistling noise the whole time we were there. We were woken up by housekeeping early in the morning by vacuuming upstairs. We were told that housekeeping didn't start until 11 am when check out started. We tried to address these issues with the front desk and my husband was threatened with the police. The woman at the front desk was very unprofessional and wasn't trying to even resolve any of our issues. I use to be a former Hilton employee and I know how they use to pride themselves in making things as comfortable as possible. And being the best, now I will never stay here again.

We stayed here for two nights. It's an average hotel marketing itself as being nicer than it really is. The bathroom design isn't great with path of the door taking up all space in the bathroom. There wasn't any hot water and water pressure was non-existent.The worst part is they charged us for incidentals we did not purchase. We've been trying to get this straightened out for a week, but keep getting the run around. And they didn’t give back my drivers license after checking in.

A fairly bang-average hotel in nearly all respects. The layout of the building takes some getting used to due to its U-shaped floor plan. The decor in the lobby and rooms has a very discordant brand of eclecticism — if that makes any sense — with furniture sets and lighting fixtures that don’t seem to match, clashing colors and lastly busy wallpaper and carpet. At least in my room, the wiring on some lights seems to have issues as well. Single rooms have curtains bisecting the room, so if you wish, you can cordon off the bed from the desk, sofa and kitchenette. It doesn’t run the full with of the room, however. The bathrooms, at least based on this guest’s experience, is somewhat awkwardly positioned across from the kitchenette. Furthermore, the bathroom door just barely clears the sink and countertop. Whether that comes off as overly cramped or a highly efficient use of space is ultimately a subjective call. There are other things I could harp on, such as the dirty elevators and their annoying doorbell-like chime, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt here because I stayed over right after a major holiday. On the plus side, the hotel is located near the airport and is both family and pet-friendly. Downtown KC isn’t more than 15-20 minutes away, depending on traffic. Ultimately, there are worse places you could do than the Home2 but if you don’t mind a less central location, you could probably do a lot better than this Martha Stewart funhouse.
