    I read the other reviews before booking this Holiday Inn and was honestly not expecting a great stay, but I was pleasantly surprised. From check in to check out the experience was decent. Room was spacious, clean. Plenty of supplies and toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was simple but good. Bacon was the highlight. Special shout to Raj at the front desk. Courteous and explained the procedure in detail. Overall a good stay and I will book again if in the area.

    Hotel was gross, If they do have cleaning staff you can’t tell. Sheets were stained, carpets were not vacuumed and were super stained. Stains all over the curtains and previous guests hair in the sink and all over the bathroom. Had rooms changed but the 2nd room was no better. You could smell that people were smoking in the hotel. Wouldn’t recommend.

    Room smelled musty and had pocket forming in the ceiling paint from moisture accumulation in the bathroom. When I checked out there was not receipt under the door and no one at the front desk to give me a copy. I tried calling the hotel a few days later to get a copy and could not get through to anyone at the front desk; the phone just rang and rang. Finally, I tried a different extension and someone answered the phone. However, they said I had to get my receipt from Expedia, even though the charge on my card was from the hotel directly. They didn't seem to understand that they charged me directly and were of no help.

    I would rate this place 0 stars if I could. I booked the wrong dates for my stay and called for 3 hours on Friday Oct 10th. I kept getting transferred and the run around. I was put on hold for 10 minutes while another customer was complaining about suing this hotel for fraud. That should’ve been a red flag immediately. I spoke to Shoaib, the manager, and he said he would offer a 50% refund since it was an error on my part. I agreed over the phone and accepted since it was my fault so it was valid. I rebooked for the correct weekend. I contacted the hotel 10/14 regarding my refund since the manager quoted I would see it within a few days. Manager wasn’t available so I left my number with the front desk clerk. My flight was delayed and then later canceled completely all within a few hours. I updated the hotel immediately when I found out about the delay and how we would be checking in later. Then once I found out that the flight was canceled, I notified IHG right away. I had to reschedule the entire trip and find new flights for a different weekend. I asked for a refund and the front desk stated they couldn’t do anything without a manager. Fine, I called the next morning (10/17) when they told me to call. No manager available. I left my phone number and a message so that the manager, Shoaib Chatta, can call me back. Once again, I called 10/19, 10/22, 10/28. I’ve spoken to several representatives via chat, phone, and email over the course of 4 weeks, and it has still not been resolved. A couple representatives stated the manager left a note saying “50% refund will be granted” for my most recent trip and he noted that he notified me. Not once did I receive a call back from this hotel, ever. Maybe they’re trying to ignore me so they don’t have to refund me anything at all. I was going to rebook my hotel with them but the lack of professionalism and accountability persuaded me not to. These shady business practices will eventually have this place closed. IHG should conduct a full business audit and investigate this hotel because it is not in standard of their reputation.

    We stay at Holiday inn express whenever we travel and have not had a bad review on any of them until this place.. it’s very outdated and in much need of a remodel.. the carpets are stained and old, soap dispenser at sink is broken, fridge is on but frozen over so it’s hardly working.. we didn’t even bother going down for breakfast. When we open the door to our room it smelled like an ashtray 🤢! The bed is clean and super comfortable but that’s about it. The hotel sits next to a VERY busy highway so it makes getting out of here a nightmare. We do not recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed here for the commanders and chiefs game Edit: when we went to check out the man at the desk had his phone so loud while watching something on it he didn’t even acknowledge my husband standing there. The staff wasn’t very nice either.
