The room (king bed) was smaller than any other Holiday Inn Express hotel we’ve ever been in and so was the bathroom. The bathroom was also not very clean, there was a blue piece of plastic left on the floor from a previous guest so it hadn’t been swept. The grout was also black with dirt. Although the pictures of the room showed it with an upholstered chair, there was non. When I asked about it when we checked out I was told “not all of our rooms have them”. We are actually in the Kansas City area quite frequently, but we won’t be returning to this property.

- MMMichelleSep 3, 20251.0We had a bad experience at this hotel!! Dawn the manager was extremely rude to us on two different occasions when we tried to get an early check-in!! I understand they were busy, but we didn't know that at the time!! Your front desk people shouldn't tell people they can try to get early check-ins on game weekends!! It still doesn't make it right!! The main complaint is that on the second night of our stay at 11:30 at night my daughter dropped her phone when she was in bed!! She got down on the ground to pick it up and found underwear between the mattress and box spring!! If housekeeping had changed the sheets on this bed the underwear would have been found!! Obviously the sheets were dirty!! The hotel only wants to give us a few points because we booked through a 3rd party!! 3rd party won't do anything because hotel management (Dawn) thinks 38 points is acceptable!! We stayed at this hotel because we have stayed at a few different Holiday Inn Express before!! Never again!! Completely disgusting!! It's too bad because they are usually nice hotels!! I wouldn't give this any stars, but it won't let me post without one!!
