The room (king bed) was smaller than any other Holiday Inn Express hotel we’ve ever been in and so was the bathroom. The bathroom was also not very clean, there was a blue piece of plastic left on the floor from a previous guest so it hadn’t been swept. The grout was also black with dirt. Although the pictures of the room showed it with an upholstered chair, there was non. When I asked about it when we checked out I was told “not all of our rooms have them”. We are actually in the Kansas City area quite frequently, but we won’t be returning to this property.
