The location is very close to the convention center and the room is great. Overall the staff is friendly but not necessary helpful. Everything seems to be set up to make me pay more along the way.

Victoria Griffin at the front desk is an absolute joy. I had an awful day, filled with disappointment and disruptions. My reservation got messed up by my company, causing further issues. However, I walked away from the front desk happy with a smile on my face and a load off my mind. This lady belongs in management. Thanks, Victoria, for being so helpful and accommodating. You really made a bad day better. This is why I'm a Hilton Honors member and will never stay anywhere but Hilton.

We really love this hotel and stay here when we come to Kansas City often. The drum room is a very cool place to grab a cold drink or a nice cocktail and the food at the restaurant. Providence is good as well.

Lifetime HHonors Diamond member here. I got there by staying at Hampton Inn and Hilton Garden Inn. Recently I stayed at the Hilton Chicago (just awful) and this week at the Hilton Presidential in KCMO. It was gross. Look at the rust in the bathtub and then at the window in the room. It was too dirty to even see out outside. It smelled like mildew. Ok. I’m done experimenting. Hampton all the way.

I’ve stayed here for work trips many times now due to it being walking distance to my corporate office. I’ve been to a few different hotels over the years but have made this my primary for a while. It may not have that super modern look newer hotels have, but it has its charm, practicalness, friendly customer service that’s make it feel like an extension of my home while I’m here. There’s a good bar/resteraunt attached that has its fun vibe at night especially on game nights and the hotel does make the effort to modernize parts of the experience over the years. They now have TVs that support streaming apps and an acting snack/drug store next to the front desk with a nice self checkout kiosk now. And with this recent checkout I freaked out from losing my prescription glasses but they found them for me! I know there’s a new Loews hotel now further down the street, but idk I think it’s overrated for all you really need if you’re not here for the convention center. Will keep coming here and happy holidays!
