Terrible experience. Victoria beyond rude and arrogant. As a Diamond Member I ask to speak to the GM and she told me he only takes appointments to speak to guest. Lol. Your guest, and there choice to stay and spend money at your hotel is the reason the doors open and lights are on. Loose the arrogance and provide some hospitality

RoomRankView.com honestly helped make this stay even better. I came across it before arriving and decided to check out the room locations ahead of time. At check-in, the gal at the front desk was super nice and mentioned they only had rooms 522 and 514 available. Because I had already looked them up, I knew 522 had the better view, so I went with that one. Really glad I did. If I would’ve chosen 514, I would’ve been staring right at another building. Instead, 522 had a much more open view and it completely changed the feel of the room. It’s crazy how much the view impacts the overall experience. Beyond that, the hotel itself was fantastic. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, great atmosphere, and friendly staff throughout. Check-in was smooth, everything felt well maintained, and the location was perfect. Overall, such an amazing hotel and definitely a stay I’d repeat.

I would NOT stay here. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor because the seal was bad and I had to use all the towels to clean it up myself! Told staff and nothing. I was in the room for only 2 days and got bed bugs not just including bites but my luggage was infested when I returned home. Filthy and told front desk at check out and all I got was sorry. My company stays there often. Never again!! Especially when you don’t care and I’ve been a Hilton honors member for years. May be time to switch!!

I usually stick to modern hotels to avoid "old building" problems like thin walls/windows, weak AC, and a lack of outlets. But the Hilton President in KC is an exception—this place is a masterclass in restoration. It’s over 100 years old and meticulously maintained, but they’ve managed to bake in high star modern amenities without losing that regal, old-world beauty. For a century-old structure, the rooms are surprisingly quiet and well-insulated. The renovation was clearly done with a "tech-first" mindset; I was impressed to find plenty of power outlets and even ethernet ports built right into the walls. The AC actually works, the bathrooms are modern, and the elevators are some of the fastest I’ve seen in a historic building. Walking through the hotel feels like being on a movie set. The 12th-floor ballroom is stunning, and the lobby acts as a mini-museum with photos of the original 1950s staff and operations. There’s a solid gym in the basement and a built-in Starbucks, which is a nice convenience. A Few Logistics Notes: The Key Glitch: I did have one hiccup where my room was double-booked right after check-in, and my key was deactivated. However, the staff was incredibly kind and receptive, getting it sorted immediately. Transport: Don’t bother bringing a car. Between the road closures and tricky street access, driving can be a a challenge.on a Friday night. Stick to rideshare—the uber access here is quick. Efficiency: I hate massive hotels where it takes 20 minutes to get to the street. Here, I could be out the door in 5 minutes or less. The Verdict It’s a bit pricier than other spots nearby, but you’re paying for the history and the prime location next to the Power & Light District and the T-Mobile Center. It’s a perfect, classy getaway for a couple or a business traveler. If you want to feel like you’ve stepped back in time without sacrificing modern comforts, this is a great hotel. If I had more time I'd check out the well rated hotel.

Stay at the Marriott. The location is nice if you need to walk to the convention center but the parking is NOT secure. Two cars were broken into the first night we were there. The shower was dirty and other people we knew that stayed there said the same. The evening staff didn’t seem like they wanted to deal with it. The woman was quick to let me know they were aware and basically go away. On a brighter side the man at the Starbucks was delightful.
