    I stayed here for a night and I must say that Matt really started my stay off to a great start! Matt was the van driver who picked me up at the airport and he was extremely friendly, professional and informative. He drove safely and shared useful information. The only reason I’m writing this review and sharing good things about this hotel was because of him — nowadays, so many people just look at a job as “just a job” but I could tell Matt is passionate about his job and does it great so for that he deserves some recognition. Aside from Matt, the hotel could definitely use some extra love but I did see signs up indicating a renovation in the works. The room was still decent and the housekeepers did a good job cleaning and restocking. There isn’t much around but overall it’s a decent place for a night rest after traveling and has friendly staff. Thank you for everything Hilton team.

    I would not recommend this hotel. Our stay was horrible our room had no heat in the middle of February the coldest month of the year We froze all night what was supposed to be a happy Valentine turned into a disaster. Our rooms television did not work and the WI-FI was down Our entire stay. They sent a IT tech to our room he promised to return but he never did. None of our complaints were addressed

    I usually stay here if I have an early morning flight since it is close to the airport. Also use the hotel meeting rooms for company meetings since out of town colleges can easily fly into Kansas city and catch the shuttle. One of the downsides of using this hotel is the Parking Fees. After booking a room for a meeting, each person is then charged $12 for parking. During a previous meeting, I received a letter for parking fees of $75. The parking is managed by an external company and they are very difficult to work with. The hotel does not provide parking information and posting readily available. Not providing information for parking fees, sending letters for costly fees, and threatening to tow my vehicle, is predatory. I am boycotting and will no longer stay at this hotel.
