We just need a place to stay to break our trip in half. Room was clean. Breakfast was good, staff was amazing. Hotel rooms were all outside door entrances. Ice machines were in room at each end of buildings with outside doors your room key opened. Exercise room was a room with exterior door entrance your room key opened. The registration , business center and breakfast center were all together in a seperate large room. This hotel has multiple buildings, is older but served our purpose.

I was pleasantly surprised, I don’t go to motel type places to stay, however this one was exceptionally well maintained and the outside and inside clean, organized and cared for, my room was clean, smelled good and comfortable. They area was easy access to restaurants, gas stations and stores. It was quiet and peaceful. The lady Sam who checked me in was just rude, plain and simple, she acted as if I was a burden, she never uttered a kind word or even a simple smile. She seemed angry when asking questions, yes she did her job but with a heavy attitude. However the next morning i talked with Bianca the manager, I hope I said her name right, she was cheerful, listened to my concerns, and addressed issue. That’s the type of management that makes a company run well. That’s what makes people want to come back. Staff needs to understand that they represent a company, the managers and their community. How they treat others puts a positive or negative tone on the guest. Top two things I look for in any place I stay is 1. How I am greeted, does staff smile? Are they friendly, welcoming and helpful. Attitude Appearance And Appreciation 2. Up keep, clean and an organized hotel You can tell by the small details if hotel is worth staying at The cook staff lady was present, cheerful and her area clean and she was helpful, and friendly a smile goes a long way.

When we arrived we immediately smelled marijuana. It was quite off putting. We were also disappointed that the pool was closed, but that was my mistake for not reading more carefully and realizing it was an outdoor pool. The marijuana smell continued for several hours and I believe it was coming from the room next to us as it was also coming into our room from the vent in the closet. The bed frames were a hollow metal and the room next to us seemed to be banging on theirs all night. It sounded like someone throwing furniture into an empty dumpster all night. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean although the counter with the microwave had scribbles on it and a scratched up counter top. Breakfast was mostly good. The potatoes and eggs were fresh and delicious. The biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were hard as rocks. The staff were friendly and helpful. Not a terrible stay but we will plan to stay elsewhere next time.

So this place is more of a motel than a hotel. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. The bed was extremely firm. I would not stay here again. The walls are super thin. You can hear what's going on in the next room. Very clear.

Overall a decent place for the price. Clean, modern room with updated smart tv. The breakfast is pretty good for hotel breakfast with many options. No sign of bugs or cobwebs. The ac filter in the room needs cleaned out. The only part thats really an issue for me is that the bed mattresses need replaced. It felt like I was laying on a stack of cardboard with a blanket on top.
