The challenge that my husband and I face is that we are both wheelchair users and their ADA accessible rooms with roll in showers designed for wheelchair users aren’t really accessible. While there is a bench. The shampoo and conditioner and body wash are mounted on a wall over 5 feet away and the bench slopes downward and is a slippery surface making it very challenging to safely use. I mentioned this to the general manager during checkout, and she said it was on the far wall because when obese clients use the 3+ ft wide bench They reported feeling cramped With the shampoo and conditioner, mounted closer. So note taken that someone’s comfort is more important than our safety… Additionally, a few months back they had damage to their accessible parking area Causing deep grooves in the pavement, going up to the ramp. They said that those would be fixed At that time and they have not been fixed yet. As far as standard hotel notes. The bed was not the most comfortable and dipped in the center. They do have renovations coming up, so hopefully those will be replaced and the showers And parking lot will be modified to be safer., the safe is always super friendly though, which is a bonus.
