There was a smell, not awful but maybe a cleaneing product .The lobby decor is tired looking. There are papers taped to the checkin desk. I think it was about parking. It was just tackie. I bet in its day it was a beautiful hotel. The bones are there but the astestic wasn't goid. The hallways smelled too, again not awful but also not pleasant.The room is very plain with odd decor choices. The pros, the price was very good. The room was very clean and the bathroom was nicely remodeled. The free breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. My opinion, if you are looking for a place to sleep at a reasonable price, this is it It your looking for the vacation experience maybe look around.

We love the morning breakfasts right downstairs, and the size and cleanliness of the rooms, which is always great. The people here are all kind and super helpful. Anything that needs help, service appears right away. Outside of the place always being in some minor construction, which has never been disruptive to our stay, this place is top notch for service, room and location! Strongly encourage couples or families to stay here.
