    I was suddenly displaced from my home until some repairs were done. My insurance company sent me to Homewood suites, and I have to say the front desk staff the breakfast. Staff and housekeeping were also so helpful and friendly. They welcomed my two big dogs as well!

    I booked a suite for my son and a few of his friends for his Birthday, the cleanliness of the room was good. Location was exceptional being that Schnucks was in walking distance. The only thing that i was a little upset about was being early October and the Outdoor pool was closed. Although the weather was still nice, the boys looked forward to swimming. Next visit ill make sure to book with a Suite with a indoor pool. The exercise room was also not what i expected, the size of a closet with just a elliptical machine and a few hand weights. Our stay was very enjoyable we spent our time at the Outlet mall and at the Main Event.

    Second time staying here, second time that the TVs just don't work. The wifi sucks too, it's so slow that you can't use it.

    I booked this hotel based on reviews but in reality I had a poor experience, For some reason I was checked into a room that either had not been occupied in a while or the hotel has very poor housekeeping staff. There was debris from the previous guest on the floor and the floor was sticky from dried up liquid, I have attached pictures of the pans and cutlery provided in the kitchen, it was so gross I was nauseous for days, I had to go buy my own disposables and pans and bowls , I practically wiped off the room myself, as if that was not enough, I woke up the next day to make an early morning appointment and there was no hot water running in the bathroom. I tried reaching the front desk, only to realize both phones in the rooms were stone dead, I thought to call the customer line on the website, your guess is as good as mine; it gave a response that the line is inactive. I had no choice but to a have cold water bath that morning. Things settled a bit as I decided to clean my room myself and was not comfortable eating from the hotel considering all I had gone through. And just when I thought I would eventually enjoy my stay, I noticed one day that the air conditioning was not working, I mentioned it to guest services on my way out hoping it will be resolved before my return, I got back to a hot summer room still. It took a second call before I got Tech Support come Check it out at about 5pm! It turned out the unit was broken so I had to be moved! To my disappointment, there were no apologies or assistance with the move from guest services, the Technician, kind gentleman offered to bring the luggage cart up to my room and I did the move, loading and pushing of the to cart at 7pm to the newly assigned room which was a bit of a distance from my initial room. I mentioned my experience with a lady who said she was the head of housekeeping and she could barely wait for me to finish my complaint before replying that I had reported that the previous day and that she can only help if I let the team. She was so hasty and had no empathy what I had experienced. The rest of my stay after I changed rooms was good and without issues. In general the service provided was below my expectation, the front desk lady with dreads was not very professional as her impatience and body language told a different story, one of them was actually very good and always warm, pity I did not get her name, she offered to look up sister Hilton hotels if I wanted to try somewhere else to get the Hilton experience and was very apologetic about my experience and was suggesting she would speak to her manager for possible compensations when someone in the office behind the reception interrupted the conversation and she actually closed the door behind her to talk to this person leaving me standing there staring at a closed door. I completed the rest of my stay at the Hilton Frontenac, which by the way offers excellent service and the guest service practically checked on me everyday through my stay, they also had a shuttle bus service which was very commendable.
