I was very impressed by the size and quality of the one bed room I stayed in. Heating and cooling worked exceptionally, the room had lots of amenities and the bathroom was excellent!

I have a billing question. I contacted IHG almost two months ago and was told the hotel would call me back within 48 hours. I have still not heard from them, so I called the corporate number back. They either do not care to help customers or are incompetent. I have still not been able to speak to someone about this issue.

I showed up at 9pm to check in under a reservation. It took about ten minutes to be seen because the only person working was looking for batteries for another guest’s TV remote. After checking in, I brought my wife and young kids from the truck and waited in the cold for ten minutes while the same woman from behind the desk desperately tried to fix the automatic doors that came off their guides. Five stars for her, she was nice, helpful, and doing the job of three people.
I got my family upstairs and ran off to get food for them, then my wife started sending me pics of dead bugs in the room and on one of the beds. I came back, cleaned up the dead bugs, and started noticing the general dirtiness of the room. The carpets had deep stains, and it just looked worn out.
The breakfast in the morning was average/typical, but one of the two milk cartons I brought upstairs for my kids was spoiled and smelled rancid. Because of the dead bugs, we only slept in one bed, but my daughter started jumping on the other bed in the morning and I noticed boogers on the underside of the comforter in the bed we hadn’t slept in.
I started bringing our bags to my truck around 8:30am and there was a spilled coffee in the elevator with a caution sign “wet floor” placard next to it. After two trips to the truck and 15 minutes, the spill was still there. They also were out of luggage carts to make it in one trip instead of two.
I think the staff was nice and accommodating as best they could, but someone has done them a disservice by understaffing the location. I didn’t see anyone on the cleaning crew, but the state of the room I had suggests they are also understaffed and overworked.
