Ashley and Aida were the absolute warmest welcome and kindest souls my husband and I encountered on our 21 day drive from California to Chicago. We were road exhausted and in need of a wonderful room and stay. Upon check in we got to meet Ashley that welcomed us and check us in… with a treat in hand for our pups. She’s a joy and such an asset to your customer service front desk. Ashley introduced us to Aida, her co angel who swiftly and very warmly helped guide us to our room. Both ladies showed such warmth, smiles, kindness, and professionalism that truly touched us. Aida is equally a wonderful joy and asset to your customer service front desk. We decided then and there that all our future stays would be at Hampton Inns. Customer service is tough at times. I just retired from the education system after 30 years and know how far the service hand must extend for folks. You have two super rock stars representing Hampton Inn in the most amazing way. This hotel deserves 0 stars. Bloody sheets when we got there had to have them replaced. The rooms smell. The ac doesn't work well. The carpet coming up in room. Tub is slippery. The hall is extremely hot and humid gross smell.The beds are hard as brick I couldn't hardly walk by the time I checked out from pain. There's dirt in rooms in hall etc. Carpet rolled up in hallway that someone can fall over. They did not clean the rooms because I found marijuana in the room while looking for something. Which I turned in. The lady who took it said she was aware of all the issues with the hotel and others were complaining about the issues as well. This hotel should be shut down they are charging full price for run down rooms. Do not walk run as far as you can. The best part all week long Priceline tried to contact them and was told there was no manager on duty till the next week. Finally got ahold of a manager and did a 3 way call. Manager said I gave her the marijuana and checked out with her. Then changes her story . she denies saying she agreed that others have complained. Then She offered $50.. I asked her again are you now saying that I did not check out with you and all she kept saying is all I can do is $50 . She would not give me a higher up phone number nor offer them to call me. She claimed the owner will not call me. So you are saying that this hotel is ran by only her decisions? No way. Every place has a higher up. Owners do call people. This hotel is a huge scam just run. Save yourself a miserable stay and headache. Sadly the older gentleman that works there is the best part of the hotel he's so friendly. I hope he gets a better job and pay. He don't deserve to work for a scamming hotel. Btw I had a kid with me. That's what made me more aggravated finding that in my room. Whats sad is there's so many reviews about these issues and they are still allowed to stay open. Ordering through price line I didn't see all these I regret not checking better because I trusted priceline to have good hotels. Never had issues before. Priceline also caught the manager in the lie changing her story.
Update to google reply **** when I checked out and gave it to the lady at the desk they were well aware of all the issues and said they were making a list . You see they say they are renovating it .. Yet they are charging full price. Just run. BTW I will never step foot in your hotel again. The staff is full of lies and any company that doesn't have a manager daily or have an owner to call me is no company I want to so business with.
