  Great hotel with clean rooms, cookies out for a night snack and free drinks for IHG members! Friendly staff and tons of SPRINGTIME FUN!

  I booked my room in Feburary, for an April stay. 2 queens, I arrive to find them overbooked and stuck with a single bed suite. The lady at the desk was Super sweet and apologetic, and gave us a roll cot. But it was a huge inconvenience. Then the next morning I wake up to discover the TV would not turn on? If the staff wasnt so polite this would be a 1 star review

  I booked a room using my cash app card .they took the money. When I get there they tell me they don't except cash app cards or accept reservations from locals in 35 mi radius. Now the hotel can't verify why they cancel my reservation. Now the booking site I used won't give me a refund. I paid money to stay because of the indoor pool, maybe you shouldn't use those booking sites or maybe there needs to be more communication

  We had a room booked for the 21st of March with Candlewood suites weeks in advance. We stopped in around 1pm to try and see if we could check in early. They informed us that wasn’t possible check in wasn’t until after 3pm. We had things to do and some of the parties in our group were telling us that Candlewood was canceling rooms (AT CHECK IN TIME). I double checked my IHG app at 4pm and told my wife that our reservation was still showing. She called at 4:30 pm to double check and was informed that we did not have a room and our reservation was being canceled. (We were next on the list to call) No effort to help find us a room at all. We had to drive to Sikeston Mo and stay. I’m done with all IHG hotels.

  The manager was quite rude and refused to let us stay there after my mom had already paid! I live in IL right now, which is only about 35mins away from Candlewood. I work in Cape. Mother son night was the 13th. It was from six till nine pm. I don't do well driving at night and I had to work the next day at seven so I decided to get a room. Did it online a week ago, maybe two. My mother decided she was going to pay for it because she could use her points. The day came and she went to go verify everything. When she got there, she was informed that they no longer accept locals and that we were not allowed to stay there. After my mother had already paid. The manager was the one speaking to her. Here's why I'm upset. 1. If they are going to refuse locals then they need to clearly state on their website that they won't accept anyone within however many mile radius. 2. I feel like we should have been notified ahead of time. If there had been something going on in town, and all the other hotels were booked then I would have been SOL. 3. The manager was extremely rude and that was VERY unprofessional. I don't care if my mother did have an attitude, it is his responsibility to keep a level of professionalism about himself. He looked at my mother and told her that he did not care it wasn't his problem. We ended going to Peartree inn and they were so nice and it actually ended up being cheaper. They have free popcorn and fountain sodas till nine pm every night and breakfast in the morning. They even have two waffle markers!!
