This is a older bur nice motel. There was a problem with our room when we 1st checked in with the hvac unit being froze over so we had to switch rooms. The 2nd room had a problem with the toilet constantly running, maintenance came and said he fixed it until it was flushed again, so we had to turn the water off during the night so we could sleep. We stayed here for 12 days/nights because we were building the indoor pool at the New Silver Dollar City Resort. There was several workers from the area staying there especially on weekend. It was nice having a mini fridge and microwave in the room but the fridge could be alittle but bigger especially if people stay for any length of time like we did. I had to buy a tote from Dollar General next door to store all our food and supplies in. The whole time we were there housekeeping never vacuumed the hallway on 3rd floor. I kept our room picked up and towels and sheets changed to avoid housekeeping coming into our room. I was able to get a crackpot and made the guys a huge pot of chili and beef stew to keep from having to eat out everyday. All in all it was a decent place to stay while the guys worked during the day and I stayed at motel. It was very nice to look out the sliding door a couple mornings and see a family of deer there.

Front desk staff knocked on my door (we had a do not disturb on door handle). I asked them what they wanted and they took off down the hall. I went out in the hall and asked the girl what she wanted. She replied "Just making sure you have everything you need"...
This was very unsettling for my family. I didn't feel comfortable the rest of our stay. Was she trying to steal from us? Who was the worker with her and why would they knock on our door to see if we needed anything? Never again... So bizarre. When I complained, no suitable explanation was offered.

Room was damaged and not the best but I’ll take it for the convenience of being close to SDC however… the ‘breakfast’ situation makes me want to not ever come back here. Servers were all unhappy and provided pretty poor service. Food was pretty poor for even a free breakfast, pancakes and sweet tea tasted old, I just wanted out of the experience as quickly as possible to be honest.

Yes, close to silver dollar, but the rooms/building are old and dirty. House keeping never cleaned the room (yes we hung the notice on the door to have our room serviced), tub would not drain. We mentioned both situations to the staff and still nothing was done about it. Spa was cold. Better to stay down the way at a nicer and drive to silver dollar.

Stained carpet in rooms and hallway, poor lighting, no closet door, manager was rude and unhelpful.
I reserved the hotel through Orbitz and my daughters weren't registered on the Orbitz site, so the hotel did not allow them to have breakfast vouchers. The manager said she wasn't able to provide them with the complimentary breakfast. No kidding.
The manager's lack of class and dearth of professionalism sort of exude into the sad and stained hotel atmosphere.
Overall, this place is filthy and depressing.
I needed strong Wifi for work meetings on my laptop, and I did see reviews for strong Wifi. Otherwise, maybe the reviews are not authentic. How do they not discuss the predominant filth?
Branson has lots of pleasant and tidy options. Explore elsewhere!
