- LSLaurie SmithJan 24, 20262.0I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 12 years because it is close to family. I recently spent one night. I booked the room through the Hilton Honors app and was given the rate including taxes. When I checked out, I was charged almost $10 more. I was told by the manager that new taxes were added Jan 1 and I booked the room Jan 3. The app booking did show taxes, but not the new taxes. The manager would not adjust our rate. Our room had also not been vacuumed and I mentioned this to the clerk when we checked in. When I told the manager about this after discussing the rate, she apologized and told me if the staff member made a note of my complaint, she would give me extra HH points. Why she would not take my word for it as the customer, I don’t know. To date I have not been given any extra points. I’m disappointed because I have been a long time user of this hotel, but I won’t stay there again.
