  I took a day trip to Winona and was blown away by this hotel. The staff were all amazing, I needed a late check out and to leave my luggage there and they were so helpful. The view looked better than it did online, the location is perfect too,

  Refreshing. Rooms along the river offer an amazing view. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was nothing amazing but okay for what it is. Only complaint when taking a shower someone must have flushed or something because the shower essentially turned into a drip, quickly returned to a normal pressure. Nice little restaurants within walking distance.

  Wonderful! Retro 1960’s style Business Hotel, right next to the Mississippi River & in the heart of downtown Winona💜 This is an absolute hidden gem! This is an extremely polished peaceful hotel great for a getaway, weekend stay, or trip… it is so comfortable and relaxing to enjoy the fireplace, hot tub, top shelf bar … I’m definitely coming back to this hotel for the great River Shakespeare festival this summer! I highly recommend

  My sisters came to town for a belated Christmas visit and stayed at the brand new Hotel 44° North and we had such a wonderful time. As someone who lives in Winona I was excited to see what this new hotel had to offer and it absolutely delivered. The location is fantastic and their room had a beautiful view overlooking the river. Even in winter it was lovely and we kept saying how amazing that view will be in the summer. Sitting by the windows or enjoying the property with everything green and the river in full swing will be stunning. We spent a lot of time together at the hotel and took full advantage of the huge sauna which was such a treat and incredibly relaxing. Later in the evening we enjoyed a nightcap at the bar which was the perfect cozy way to end our day of catching up and celebrating. My sisters could not stop raving about their room and the overall experience. I will definitely be recommending Hotel 44° North to friends and family visiting Winona who need a hotel. It is a wonderful addition to town and I am already looking forward to future visits there.
