  Thank you to Maria V for the wonderfully clean room. Helen, Olivia, Keith, Peggy, Andi, and Josh for superb service at the front desk! Great place to stay. Excellent location and restaurant attached!

  We stay in a lot of Best westerns each year. This was a decent hotel. It's not a top of the line Best Western Plus but it was clean and the service was friendly. Breakfast was good and featured the ever-popular pancake conveyor belt machine. The pool area has an arcade if you're willing to pay for it.

  We were scheduled to take a trip to Minnesota to tour some college campuses. We were going to be traveling from Texas during spring break by car. At the last minute we noticed that the weather was taking a turn for the worse, so we had to cancel our plans and cancel the reservations. I made the mistake of calling Best Western corporate customer service to see about getting a refund on our reservation. When I had initially made the reservation it said that we could cancel up to the day that we were supposed to arrive but Best Western corporate told me that I needed to cancel to 3 Days prior and I had lost out on my refund. I had sent a customer feedback form to Best Western, and general manager Josh Mueller responded to me almost immediately. I had explained the situation and while we were forced to cancel. Josh was kind enough to listen and gracious enough to offer a refund immediately. We had a great conversation. My family and I are planning on coming back to the area to tour those college campuses. Will definitely be reaching out to Best Western St Paul North/Shoreview on our next stay. I can't ask for more than the great customer service that I received from Joshua. You've made quite an impression on me and my family. Will be seeing you soon!

  Staff was awesome. Was there 30 minutes early for check in 2:30, told it wasn't ready (no problem went and had a drink). Came back still not ready? Ok. Checked again and it's now 315 nope still not ready?? Told that the soap dispenser was ripped from shower and they are trying to fix it. Now 330 they allowed us to check in. Gave us extra little bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Get to room clearly it wasn't vacuumed. Found wrappers on floor by bed. Oh well we had to get going to our function. Beds were hard and loudly creaky. Ceilings had water damage marks, you. Was clearly very old. But staff was awesome and that mad a big difference. And no I didn't ask for a discount because staff was stressed enough. But should have been offered something??
