Have been staying here off and on for the past two years over the winter months.
2 years ago I complained about the ice machines in this facility that the public can use. They either don’t work or the ice that comes out of them has a bad taste.
Here we are 2 years after first complaining about them and they still haven’t been updated. For a facility that is affiliated with mayo, one would think they would do more for the customer.
It’s not my first bad experience here. Stayed here last winter and had a family in the next room screaming till 11pm. I figured I’d give it one more try. I did, guess I won’t be back, this time.
Management is a joke!
David,
If your response is true, why was a OUT OF ORDER sign on the first floor ice machine and when using 2nd floor one it’d spit 4-5 ice cubes and then not work at all? As far as going to front desk, I knew that because I had to do that the last 2 years when these outdated machines wouldn’t work.
One thing positive, it’s nice to know that you finally cleaned the machines that don’t ever work. Usually the ice tasted like skunk water, once melted.

Terrible! The main draw is the pool and water slide. The water slide was closed for 20 minutes out of every 30 minutes all night because too many kids were using it. They were constantly out of pool towels. The basketball hoop in the pool has been broken since we stayed here last year.
They changed their policy to make you have to request housekeeping except they don't tell you that when you check in, and it is not written in their policies because "The manager hasn't updated it yet." When you find out and request housekeeping for the same day, they say it's too late.
The rooms are old, broken, and dingy. There were used towels left on the floor. On top of everything else, the coffee is horrendous.
To be fair, the continental breakfast was decent.
