Great prices along with great options for breakfast. A little difficult finding entrance and a bit heavy on chlorine. Definitely would use this hotel again tho

I have stayed here for Mayo appointments because it is a little cheaper than staying closer to the clinic. They advertise discounts but you need to book directly through them and pay a higher price. The discount if you qualify gets your room price the same as using a booking company. There isn't a discount. It's all smoke and mirrors. I didn't ask for a veterans discount, they offered one. Then when I asked for it I was told "Thank you for your service. My uncle was in the military. I really like vets. But!! SORRY you don't get a discount because you booked on line" I stated that SORRY wasn't acceptable. This smoke and electronic mirrors BS is a game to make you feel good while reaching into your wallet. I expressed my concerns and they dont want to hear it due to the fact they canceled my reservations. Fellow veterans beware.

While we thoroughly enjoyed the pool area, our stay was impacted by several maintenance concerns in our room. Danie was exceptionally helpful on our first night and made a genuine effort to address the issues. However, the room remained uncomfortably warm, requiring us to purchase a fan, and the toilet was not functioning properly. We were provided a plunger for the duration of our stay, but the issue was not fully resolved. Unfortunately, the level of service was inconsistent after Danie’s shift. The manager on duty the following day was less responsive in addressing our concerns. Additionally, the water slide was not turned on until 5:00 p.m., and the pool area lacked proper lighting, requiring us to request that the lights be turned on for safety. Overall, while there were some positive aspects, the maintenance issues and inconsistent service affected our experience.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I was going to stay at the Best Western Apache Hotel in Rochester, Minnesota, and my experience was unfortunately overshadowed by a lack of safety and crowd control. At the pool, there was well over the maximum allowed capacity—both in the hot tub and the pool area—making it chaotic and overcrowded. Children were running down the halls, knocking on doors, and disrupting other guests. During one incident in the hot tub, a boy threw another child onto other kids and got on their faces and despite my intervention, his family stormed up to my room, aggressively accusing one kid with me of kicking one of theirs and threatening me. Even after security filed an incident report, the same children continued to act out, without any adult supervision. Bullying other children, pushing others and squirting them in the face with squirt guns after being asked to stop several times. I went to the front desk and, due to the unmanageable crowd and these repeated disruptions, I decided to check out early. The manager said they were still trying to identify the other guests from the incident. While the hotel had potential, the staffing and supervision could not handle the volume, and I didn’t feel safe staying any longer.
