  I absolutely LOVE this hotel. The staff is absolutely amazing and thoughtful and kind. Oh, and the breakfast was delicious! This is a WHOLE breakfast! Pancakes, bacon, sausage, the works. The room was stunning. Clean, huge, and so cozy. Love the staff here too! And the lobby bathrooms next to the pool, clean and beautiful. This is what a hotel should be! Thank you all for a wonderful stay!

  DON’T HAVE YOUR WEDDING ROOM BLOCK HERE!! We were here for a wedding from out of town this weekend. We arrived before the 3PM check in time but hoped to be able to get in a room before to get ready. We were not greeted at the door and were instead told by family that that Vicki (receptionist) wasn’t allowing check in until 3PM. I wanted to check in case our reserved room was ready (months ago reserved by making a phone call because the website didn’t work). There was no one at the desk. After a while Vicki came to the desk (dressed very unprofessionally with no name tag) and rudely told me my room wasn’t ready. Check-in was at 3. Fine. At 3:10 I went back because our shuttle to the wedding was coming to take us to the venue in 30 minutes. She told me again rudely that the rooms weren’t ready and it wasn’t her fault. A few minutes later she called my name across the lobby like I was at a meat market. I got my key and signed what I needed to sign. No apology for taking so long or for the inconvenience. I had 15 minutes to get ready. After missing the shuttle to the wedding, I came to talk to her and she bit my head my head off. She told me it wasn’t her fault that my family schedule their wedding at a stupid time. It wasn’t her fault housekeeping wasn’t doing their jobs fast enough. She couldn’t help clean because she is handicapped. She was YELLING at me. I started to cry. I asked her not to talk to me that way and she finally did calm down. The next morning she came in during breakfast and was loudly complaining about many of my family members in front of the lobby. Not just her but other staff as well. That’s how I learned her name….while the staff was trashing my family. No one apologized. No one greeted me once except for the woman working the breakfast. The only thing I heard from staff was yelling, insulting my family, and cold stares. Also there were dead bugs in our room. It smelled awful. At least it was nice and quiet even though a large portion of my family and friends paid money to be there. I will NEVER stay at this hotel and I hope I hear from someone. I filled out their corporate survey.

  If you’re looking for a hotel in Red Wing with a warm pool, stay away from this Holiday Inn. We specifically booked this hotel because we have two children and they love to swim. When we arrived at 3 pm, the first thing we did was check the pool temperature, it was very cold. We asked the front desk if they could increase the temperature, and they said they would. After about six hours, the water finally started to feel a bit warmer at 10 pm. (The kids where sleeping by then). However, the next morning when we went back to the pool, it was freezing cold again. It seems like they turn off the heaters to save on costs. Because of that, we couldn’t use the pool for the second day of our stay. In short, if you’re looking for a nice, warm pool experience, this is not the hotel for you.

  Fabulous, clean hotel with employees that are so accommodating to their guests. I had reached out to Masi ( gal in charge of room blocks for weddings, etc.) and she was FANTASTIC!!! Also, Raquel at the front desk was so attentive to various requests on my part as we celebrated my daughter and son in laws wedding. Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Book your stay here, you will not be disappointed ✨️ ✨️✨️✨️✨️🤗
