Such a cozy spot for a weekend in the Twin Cities for a Phantom of the Opera weekend! Jade at the bar was amazing. Instant sisterhood. Highly recommend!

What a nightmare. The hotel smells like vomit and feet. I’m not joking nor being dramatic. It smells like actual vomit. I don’t even know how you can get a smell like that unless someone projectile vomited several times in multiple spots around the hotel and put a fan on to carry the smell throughout the building. Secondly, my room came with the most vile, caked, moldy, ruined shower head. I went downstairs and showed a picture to Tierra at the front desk and there was no “yeah I agree with you, I’m sorry it looks like that.” Nothing. All I got was a bothered look and “do you just want to change your room?” I got another room key for a different room with an equally horrible shower head. I went back down. She came back up and just started opening several different rooms essentially just letting me pick the least disgusting room I could find. After 4 rooms, I settled on one. The rooms are incredibly dated, still smell like cigarettes, and the pool area looks like it hasn’t been scrubbed down in years. I felt trapped here for my grueling 5 day business trip. There was no relaxation after my days of work. Nothing inviting to come back to. I hope this place can be absolutely rehabbed back into shape. I have another business trip coming up and had this place booked before I came here - I will be cancelling that reservation.

This hotel used to be the best. However it's gotten to a point where it needs a complete makeover. My room wouldn't lock when the door shut and I had no way of fixing, I was told to just use the deadbolt when I was in the room (which wasn't exactly the issue). Four stalls in the public restrooms wouldn't close and they were missing tiles. But worst was the mold on the ceiling in the ballroom and the musty smell throughout. I love this hotel, the staff is always amazing, but the hotel itself is in desperate need of fixes.
