  I had an excellent stay at the TRU in Minneapolis and wanted to highlight the truly outstanding service. Every staff member I interacted with was incredibly friendly and helpful. The gentleman who runs the continental breakfast provided some of the best service I’ve ever experienced at any hotel. He warmly greeted every guest, anticipated questions before we even had to ask, and even checked in at tables to make sure everyone had what they needed. I’ve stayed at many hotels, and I’ve never seen that level of genuine care at a complimentary breakfast. The front desk receptionist also went above and beyond. I came down after noon asking if there were any leftover breakfast items for someone in my room who wasn’t feeling great, and he didn’t hesitate for a second—he grabbed a banana, muffin, and yogurt with no problem at all. The housekeeping staff was just as kind and attentive. The ladies cleaning the rooms were friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with anything I needed. Overall, the service here was truly A+. I will absolutely stay at this hotel again. Highly recommend!

  Don’t bother bringing any issues up to the front desk. Booked on booking.com and was told when booking that parking was included. Lady at the desk had attitude and said that’s a lie and not to believe what booking.com has to say. I’ve stayed in the city before and never had any issues like this. She couldn’t direct me to any public parking, neither could the valet. Ended up parking over 3 blocks away. My mom who was with me is disabled and can’t walk that far, and I wasn’t allowed to temporarily park to let my mom get out and checked in. I only booked this hotel for the alleged parking offered at the hotel. Glad I was only here for one night as there weren’t even any bath towels in the room! Tried to call the front desk for towels and an extra blanket as it was freezing and never got through to anyone. The only semi redeeming thing was the breakfast and the gentlemen helping there, who was the only positive and nice person we encountered during our stay. I’d recommend staying far away. I do not plan on ever returning to this hotel.

  ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a wonderful stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton – Minneapolis Downtown. The hotel is modern, spotless, and very comfortable — the room had everything I needed and more. What impressed me the most was the professionalism and kindness of the front desk staff. They were attentive, efficient, and always ready to help with a smile. Check-in and check-out were quick and seamless, and I truly felt welcomed from the moment I arrived. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Minneapolis — great location, excellent service, and a warm, friendly atmosphere!

  Had an appointment downtown and my husband found this closest hotel. Our room is very clean, air-condition working very well! It was even more splendid time in the morning when staff members Todd, Danielo, and Yacoub helped me with printing a very important email when the printer did not work! They were outstanding! Happily extending their hands! 💯

  We just booked a room for multiple days they claim to be handicapped accessible but they are not they also like to argue and hang up on people when we are just trying to figure out where the handicap accessible parking is because we have been refused by the valet because they are out of space we were told we could park on the street for 4 hours but that does not solve the issue of not having somewhere to park for the three days we had booked we are both disabled and this literally is not physically possible for us and they pretty much told us too bad and we're eager to cancel our room. They are ableist they are rude and they have NO EMPATHY
