Guests of our Golden Valley - Minneapolis hotel love our location! We are only 5 minutes from downtown Minneapolis, without the hassle and expense of a downtown hotel. Guests enjoy easy access to Interstate 394 and Highway 100 which connects us to the nearby cities of St. Louis Park, Minnetonka, Plymouth, Hopkins, Brooklyn Park, and Edina. We offer amenities such as free parking, complimentary breakfast, and free wireless high-speed Internet. Our hotel in Minneapolis has the perfect Twin Cities location when going to a Minnesota Twins game at Target Field, or a concert at the Target Center. In addition, we are located near The Shops at West End, which is perfect for shopping or having a nice meal. Guests love that we are just a few minutes from a drugstore, gas station, and grocery store. Families use our hotel near Minneapolis as a home base when traveling, and use our heated indoor pool to relax. Our free daily breakfast features hearty and healthy options of an egg and meat entrée, frosted cinnamon rolls, yogurt, hot & cold cereal, fruit, milk, and a variety of juices. - DHDrew HallOct 13, 20255.0Cons: Our fridge doesn’t work. Our carpet is messed up and peeling. The Smart TVs aren’t connected to the internet so not actually smart. Pros: Pool seems decent. Breakfast is a really good continental, people are super friendly, and it’s a central location to reach things around the city. Super cheap stay for us too. We didn’t alert staff about our issues with the carpet or fridge as we had already settled our stuff and didn’t want to change rooms. We had already brought a laptop so bought a cheap HDMI cable and hooked it to the TV. We also had a cooler anyway so weren’t worried about a fridge really. I’d recommend stopping at the Cub nearby to grab some drinks and snacks. The lobby snacks are convenient but super pricy. We really have enjoyed our stay. We’re looking to move up here from out of state but depending on the location of where we move in the Twins metro, we’ll likely stay here again if it’s convenient. Good price and happy to be here overall.
