I had a great stay at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Minneapolis Downtown! The hotel is clean, comfortable, and in a great location — but what really made my experience special was the amazing service at the bar. Linnea, the bartender, was incredibly kind and friendly. She made everyone feel welcome with her positive energy and genuine smile. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond like she does! Thanks, Linnea, for making my stay so enjoyable — you’re a big part of what makes this hotel such a great place to come back to!

I don’t leave reviews on hotels but this was a terrible experience. Our first night our furnace did not work and the fan ran all night long and was loud. The faucet hot water did not come on when you turned the nozzle. The shower was extremely hot to the point you couldn’t shower. No matter which way you turned the nozzle the water temp would not change. I went do and complained so they moved us to another room the second night. Again the furnace did not work. The toilet barely would flush and again the shower now did not have any hot water. So again unable to shower unless you wanted to take a cold shower. Once I checked out I again explained the situation to the lady up front. She said she would put one free night onto my Hilton honors account. I said ok thinking it would automatically be applied. I tried to utilize these points that same night ant a different hotel and was told it takes up to 30 days to get the points on your account. Absolutely disappointing! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is not worth the money I spent to stay here.

I only gave a 1 star because I did not have the option to rate lower. The hotel was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. My first night I had to move rooms twice. The first room wasn’t clean and had a smell. The second room had black mold all over the ceiling. The third room had mold on ceiling but not ass bad as the second room so I stayed as I was tired of moving around. There was no one there to assist with moving luggage nor were there any house cleaning staff. My room was not cleaned the 4 nights I stayed which was my entire stay. I was not offered anything but cookies for all my troubles. I would suggest finding somewhere else to stay as you will be greatly dissatisfied.

Upon arrival we felt like we were in a sauna. Even the front desk reps had to have a fan on them. The room was so hot, we were unsure it was safe for our 8 month old. We were told they had turned on the heat in the entire hotel and that caused the issue. We had a 4 night stay, and it did cool down finally after two nights. We were told for the inconvenience our parking for the stay would be comped, but it was not fully comped. Also that we would be given Hilton Honor Points and this also did not occur. I also got told twice the manager Courtney would contact me and this never occurred. Also when housekeeping came into our room on Sunday, they did not properly close the door, so when we can back our door was open. Thankfully nothing was missing. But when I called down to the front desk to let them know, it did not seem like it was a shared concern on their part. On a positive note Diego and Jenn at the front desk were very nice and understanding. They did what they could do in their power to assist us. Unfortunately the hotel was not up to the Hilton Standards. Location was great, but everything else was disappointing and I expect more for a Hilton hotel.
