Our room was dirty! Housekeeping does not care about the current people staying in the rooms right next to the one they are cleaning. Before 8am, they were cleaning the room next to us and letting the door slam as they went in and out to their cart, making it very difficult to sleep! Check out time is 11am. The housekeeper knocked at 10:30 to push us out so she could clean. I told her we will be here until 11am. Then the manager came at 10:55am to get us out. This place was nowhere near busy to push us out like that! I do not recommend this hotel!

My husband and I stayed here for a little weekend getaway. The rooms were spacious and overlooked the pool area. The hotel is historic but updated—it keeps its charm without feeling too "old." (Although the rooms could benefit with replacing the carpeting)
It felt classy the entire time we were there, and people seemed to really enjoy gathering around the fireplace in the lobby.
They have coffee and water in the lobby, but I think my favorite thing was the water pitcher provided in the room. There are water machines in the hallways, which is the most eco-friendly thing I’ve ever seen at a hotel, especially in a downtown area. Also, the hot tub was the perfect temperature for relaxing!

I’m not sure how this place has so many good reviews. Our room was dirty, heat didn’t work, hot water didn’t work and walls are literally paper thin. Parking is a mess and the elevator is very old and very small with no operating permit visible anywhere. They keep the atmosphere dark to hide the filth. We could hear people across the hallway having full conversations. Word for word. First thing in the morning, 7:30 am, other guests were blaring music. The room was very dated and felt like an old motel room off the side of the road. For the price, this hotel still isn’t worth the stay. Nothing about this hotel is worth it. They sell you on a dirty pool and the price of the room. There are many other way nicer hotels in this immediate area that are well worth your money. Literally across the street. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra couple dollars to stay somewhere else. Also pay attention to the card you use for unexpected charges. The only reason I’m giving two stars for the service is because the young gentleman that helped us check in was friendly however the rest of the staff was not. I would not recommend this place and I will not be coming back here.
