The location of this hotel is 100% Pristine. Located near the interstate, shops, and restaurants. The bar and breakfast at this place is above and beyond. The waterpark has our kids busy for hours. We will definitely be back. A special shout out to Stefanie at the front desk. We have been to many restaurants and the care, attention, small talk, smiles, friendliness and attention to detail went above and beyond. No words can express how she impacted our stay.. She made our stay 10 times more enjoyable and welcoming!! Brandon at the bar was friendly, kind and super funny.! We will be back.

Hotel was mandatory for team to stay at, not sure why this hotel would even be on a list for mandatory tournament stay.
Our family has resided at dozens of hotels over the years and never experienced one as sub par as the Holiday Inn & Suites in Maple Grove.
Pool rules are ridiculous, they threatened to kick kids out of pool area for the most inconsequential reasons.
They shut the entire pool area down for a “safety check” everyday, which consists of the pool staff sitting on their phones scrolling tiktok and even hiding in the bathrooms on their phones. No checks were performed (pool ph, inspection of the junk they have in the pool). During the shut down when all patrons are asked to get out the hotel staff then complain that the kids are making too much noise in the hotel hallways. Where do you expect them to go?
Hotel claims free breakfast for children but then re-nag and charge you $12 dollars once you are there.
They complain about you making noise but have their hallway music blaring all hours of the day and night.
They require you to wear a wrist band to even enter pool area and enforce two per day (am and pm). As an adult you will be denied to enter unless wearing a wrist band.
Seem to be attempting to compete with Great Wolf Lodge, Ive stayed there too and nothing but good things to say. No issues like this hotel promotes.
There is nowhere for parents to socialize other than the over priced bar area.
This hotel is not recommended. They can take the $20k made from our teams families and shove it.
Also take your name off the preferred tournament stay list.

Two weeks stay.
Changing locks on doors came back to door changed bathroom light off and fan off.
Bags and things moved around but not cleaned.
Waterpark is pretty slick.
Some chips in times and slides.
Hours of operation are kinda a bummer for many
Week two shower drain clogged called front desk 3 times no one answered. Went down only a lady at busy bar so ignored it and leaving this review
Plenty of parking
Lobbies clean and fresh of smoke and nasty stank.
Took trash can out of bathroom and moved to main room. When they emptied it there was no bag put back in and they hid it under the sink tight to the corner. (The "do not distrub" signs were always up!!!) But they entered once for cleaning and once to move my shit around and change the locks anyways.
Prices are alroght.
Food is terrible!
Bar is close to a airport priced bar
Breakfast i was told was free but when driving it was posted at 12$ somthing.
Or 28$ a day if added to the booking before payment. Witch makes zero sense. Shouldn't it be cheaper if paying online and ahead instead of the other way around???
Second week I was stuck in lobby for 35mins because the hotels.com booking did not show i paid on there end. Lady went to get manager to fix it. Said they cant. I said your going to fix it.
Left again.
Finally came back and said "o yea we just had to do blah blah blah super easy" ok then why were you about to charge me again for my stay 15 mins ago. If i wasent asserive i would have had to pay again?. . Sketchy
Good luck.
For long term stays i would recommend Plymouth at a long term stay place.

My bed was not comfortable and I was looking forward to the big fluffy comforters that hotels have, this one did not. The elevator is INSANELY SLOW. And on weekends- even when you spend 350 on a room, there is no free breakfast or bottle of water even to make a coffee in the room. It's walking distance to some shops and resturants, right off the highway so it's easy to find. We showed up right at check in and the drive through part was packed, the parking lot was REALLY full as well. The kids liked the pool- nothing bad about that. They have towels down there- but you need a wrist band to just go in and watch your kids swim. It was an ok hotel, but not worth the weekend money. The internet was bad so I couldn't get any work done, but I liked that my room had a patio.
