Our group of 30 had a great time here. The hotel staff & wait staff were so accommodating and patient with all of us. The big & little kids had a blast in the waterpark. The only thing I would do differently is to choose a day that is not during the holidays because there were so many people there.

The hotel was mediocre as far as updates and stuff. Friendly staff and clean hotel. My only complaint has to do with the swimming. I typically go to the otsego waterpark with my kids but decided to try something new. It was for my boys birthday and 1. They DO NOT let anyone go swimming without booking a room, you only get 5 wristbands and that’s it! So I had to let all of my kids friends know that they couldn’t come. 2. The birthday boys were so excited for the big slide but they were too short.. which at otsego and even Becker community center & Monticello they could down their slides. They were BUMMED. Lastly, we had NO WHERE to sit in the waterpark. So for $200 it is NOT worth going here again, I swear the Otsego waterpark is where it’s at!

Our family had the best time at this hotel thanks to Mckayla! She was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure my family and I had such an amazing stay! She was helpful and accommodating and her friendliness was exactly what we needed when we arrived! The waterpark was so fun! We were so grateful to be able to use the waterpark when we first arrived! It was exactly what we needed after a long car ride!

This place was super expensive. We stayed the day after Christmas so we knew it was going to be higher then normal. For $650.00 for 2 nights you'd think breakfast would be included. The pool was awesome for our younger kiddos and the life guards were amazing and we even saw them save 2 kiddos that night. Our issue was the bathroom sink would not drain at all as soon as the water turned on it was filling up. The drain was just sitting loose so I pulled it up and it was covered in mold. And there was what looked like rotten ramen noodles down the drain and it smelled horrible. We stayed with our kids and one of them has health issues and constantly on oxygen. We were extremely disgusted by how unclean the bathroom was. Also our comforter on the bed had what looked like cheeto residue on the underside of it. . . Everything else was decent. But for that price I would not stay here again. If you can get it way cheaper its worth it. But not for what we paid. We didnt do christmas presents this year this was everyone's present so the kids are happy but parents wouldnt spend the money on this place again. For half the price? Maybe.
Update: they reached out and apologized and asked if maintenance could check it out. We allowed them to and they tried washing it off and that was it... it was thick mold on there. We ended up leaving a day earlier because the neighbors would not stop screaming. And I mean screaming. Talked to the front desk twice about it. They kept us up until 3am. Front desk checked on the room and asked them to stop. Lady across from us almost got into the a fight with the room screaming. Security came up and had one person leave. Nice room but never again will we stay here.

Had to stop here, unscheduled, on a severely snowy night when it just wasn't safe to stay on the road any longer. The room was acceptable; nothing special and certainly not worth the >$200 they got me for. The next day, I received my bill/folio attached to an email that said "Thank you for your recent stay Powell [sic]."
No, I don't expect Hyatt- or Ritz-level service from an openly 2-star hotel, but the intelligence level needed to address a customer properly, and the ability of a person who's seen both my government ID and my reservation on their computer screen to understand the difference between a first name and last name, aren't Ritz-level expectations, or at least they didn't use to be. I've had perfectly acceptable experiences at Holiday Inns through the years, and to be barked at as "Powell" in the checkout email was really quite the bring-down.
