An excellent experience!! My sister and I visited yesterday and we loved everything about it. We walked through the tunnel of different fish, including several different species of sharks, stingrays, sturgeon, coral reef fish. Seahorse, jelly fish were fun to watch. Kathy & Alex spotted us enjoying the tanks and offered us a special tour above the tanks. Definitely a GREAT experience we were excited about. They were very knowledgeable about all the sea creatures!!! We also fed the stingrays, but tgey do not allow touching. You can touch a Sea Anemone. I would definitely recommend a stop of your in the area. It's right in the Mall Of America. We also did the virtual reality option. We got to pick the sea creature we wanted for the video and it was 7 minutes long. Also a small gift shop.

There are a lot of cool fish. The sea turtles are my favorite. I was a tad disappointed about how small the place is though. Thankfully it was $5 off because full price definitely isn't worth it. Even the $5 off was pushing it. Its definitely a one and done for me.

When I visited SEA LIFE Aquarium, the employees were super friendly from the moment I walked in at the main desk and stayed helpful the whole time. They answered my questions, explained everything clearly, and made the experience feel really welcoming. One of the best parts was the ray pool, where I got to see different types of rays up close. The employee explained how rays are flat sea animals that glide smoothly through the water and stay close to the bottom, which made it really interesting to watch them move. Feeding them was fun too because you could only gently toss, drop, or throw the shrimp into the water, and they would quickly glide over to grab it. I also liked the touch pool, where I could gently feel different sea animals, which made the visit more hands-on and exciting. Overall, the friendly staff, the ray feeding experience, and the touch pool all together made the trip really fun, educational, and memorable.

Did not feel comfortable or safe during today's experience in the aquarium. Escalators down. Only one set of stairs and small outdated elevator available for evacuation if necessary. Added to that, we were shoulder to shoulder inside small aquarium tunnel, could hardly move at points in time. The staff were extremely unhelpful, lacked direction for a crowded venue. I watched a man reaching in to touch large stingrays, he hadn't noticed small signage not to, the employee was watching him and never intervened. The sightseeing of fish was somewhat impressive but I was too uncomfortable with extemely tight and overcrowded space to actually enjoy. Paid $60 for myself and a 7 year old. If I knew what we were in for I would have offered around $20. Probably would have opted out all together. I'm thankful no emergency occurred during our visit as it would have been a nightmare. Fire Marshall would NOT be happy.

They removed the starfish from the touch pool, which I was grateful for, although upset because they weren't anywhere else. Ideally, it would've been a longer stay, however the traffic was incredibly heavy (it was Saturday) and there was a certain pace we had to keep up with. I personally would recommend the photo pass, to have digital copies of the photos with the backdrop. YOU ONLY NEED 1 PHOTO PASS PER GROUP. Even if you don't plan to buy photos there [though the phot pass offers a 20% discount] or anything at the gift shop, you have a relatively inexpensive souvenir. If you have kids and bring strollers and wagons, (or if you're in a wheelchair or other mobility aids) there are escalators and elevators in and out of Sea Life and the paths throughout the aquarium from start to finish, no stairs. [Not sure of the behind the scenes tour, because I've not done it.]
