Fix your showers!!! Ridiculous that I can't get a decent shower because water leaks from the pipe and the nozzles are clogged with scale. This is so basic Hilton! Terrible experience because I can't have a sufficient shower. AC across the street is a better experience simply because I can have an adequate shower.

I wanted to start by praising the consistently friendly and helpful staff. Every interaction — whether checking in, asking a question, or simply passing through the lobby — has been warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. The hotel sits just across the street from the Mall of America to the southeast, but one thing to note is that it isn’t actually visible from the corner. It’s tucked behind the very bright red WhirlyBall building, and Google Maps can be a bit misleading by placing the pin up in that parking lot. The building is also shared with another hotel, so you’ll see separate key fobs for the gym and laundry — just tap the correct one for your hotel and everything works smoothly. The facilities are clean, modern, and clearly updated; the bright color scheme gives the property a refreshed look. The rooms are impressively spacious — more like studios — and come with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, and utensils. If you want to cook, you can even request a burner from the front desk. The gym is one of the highlights. It’s open 24/7 with your key fob and is well-equipped. The free guest laundry is another standout feature — extremely rare and very convenient. You can bring your own detergent or purchase some downstairs. The bed is very comfortable, there’s plenty of hot water, and the overall room setup makes it easy to settle in. A few practical notes: • The Wi-Fi can be a bit fussy if you’re using a VPN or sticking with the non-premium version, and you may find yourself re-entering information more often than expected. • Parking is available for $10 a day. • The breakfast buffet is offered, but it leans toward standard hotel fare rather than healthy options — instant oatmeal (original) is the closest thing to it. The upside is there’s always coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available in the lobby. • There’s a swimming pool that appears well-maintained, though I haven’t used it yet. For pedestrians, the main intersection leading to the Mall of America can take a while to cycle, so expect some longer waits when crossing. The good news is that transportation access is excellent. The Blue Line light rail and several bus routes stop at the Mall of America, making it easy to get to the airport, downtown, or anywhere else you need to go. Overall, this hotel delivers comfort, friendliness, and convenience, especially for travelers who value space, solid amenities, and easy access to transit. Tip: look for the Big Bird 😎

In 2021 after my job laid me off and my coworker. We decided to roommate in a hotel room. We jumped every week. We found this place and stayed long term from May to July It was $80 per night at the time. They cleaned the room everytime we forgot to put the do not disturb. They had free washer/dryers for hotel staying people. This was really nice. We felt very spoiled. Only issue we had and the manager was VERY quick to correct the staff. My little boy is mixed and the staff member whom was (of race) had taken my son out of my hands and said he isnt yours. My son at the ripe age of 6 was very traumatized and my roommate and I made sure to never not travel together if this man was working. if I had my boy with me my roommate was with me. My son is now 10 and he still speaks of this moment when he remembers it. So I know it created a life term dent in his brain. The man said *snatching my son* he isnt yours. I said Hes more mine than he is anyone else's. My son Mommy tell him to let go. Shes my mommy. My only parent. Let me go. I said I was calling the manager number. Called and she came out. I said I need your staff to remove his grip from my sons arm. Hes scared and you need to talk to him about being self aware. These actions are not okay. She demanded the man released my son. She apologized over and over. We talked and I felt unsafe around the staff member after this but only him because everyone else knew us as a their long term residences. They were all so awesome. We left for Denver for a week and came back with fresh hotel room (deep type of clean). Our clothing was folded and they restocked our coffee and creamer. It felt like such a blessing. They were very kind and understanding. We saved a decent amount of money and bought a home. Got engaged during our stay and also was pregnant with a baby prior to move out. 🙃 This is our favorite story to tell people about how we became a family and I never left a review but I feel like the hotel and staff some what made our little family happen in away. Side note - do not stay at penn home2suites. They do not compare. I was charged for a week stay at 7600 in July when our water heater went out. It was suppose to be 98 dollars a night. This was taken care of with the bank after home2suites penn ave decided they were correct vs wrong. The bank blocked anymore charges after because they kept trying to charge more then what I signed and paid for.

Pretty, quiet place, rooms spotless, van service to airport and Mall of America, both less than 5 min away. 24 hour coffee, pool table, hang out area, hot breakfast, gym with modern equipment. Travel to Minneapolis often, this place will get a return.
