The night before they were 'fully booked' and the cleaning crew was not able to get to our rooms (booked 2 conjoining rooms) yet. Poor management if you're fully booked (in advance) you should prepare cleaning crews for the next guests. The rooms and bathrooms were much smaller than other DoubleTrees and not entirely clean. There was hair strands on the bathroom vanity and 1 of my pillows along with stained couches. The fridge door would not completely close and the freezer had blocks of ice accumulated, needless to say the fridge was not useful. The pool area was not kept clean and the walk there had colorful and broken tiles in the ceiling; which made the entire pool experience unwelcoming. This is not what I expect from a 4 star hotel; if I ever return to Bloomington I'll be looking more carefully at other hotel reviews.

We booked through Bluepillow and at first they had trouble finding our reservation, but they took their time looking and found us. Offered a warm cookie for our walk to our room. The walk was long but quiet. And when we got to our room my name was on the TV! So cool. The best was clean and comfortable and the room smelled clean!
