Not too shabby! I mean, not everything is ever going to be perfect so there’s no reason to be rude just because you are semi anonymous. So go here and see for yourself if you like it. Sometimes we have bad days and shouldn’t try to close a business because of a small snafu. I mean, I could be super specific and tell you who I worked with and what great service I had, or what wonderful food I was able to have, but that stuff changes day-to-day and we all need to realize that and stop being so snarky to people simply because we have the power to do so with a super computer in our hand. That’s why I am making sure to leave good reviews on places so that the world can maybe be a nicer place. We all need it.

We had stayed at this hotel ahead of attending a funeral, and the hotel itself was clean, the hallways and our room. It had plenty of towels and the beds were comfy and it was quiet, but the one main problem was there was huge black mold stains on the A/C/heater. It was so big and visible and my first thought was does housekeeping not see this when they are cleaning the rooms? I know most people don’t want to clean black mold or touch it. But management should know about this because that’s a huge health risk. So no we were not able to turn the heater on that night and so it was cold in the room while we slept. Our room was number 236. Breakfast in the morning was good. Our only bad experience and concern was the black mold. Please management if you read this review please take care of that so no other guest has to deal with that.

Being this is by far the worst place I've ever stayed in im happy to leave this review like others have. Like others no one and no where is there a 100.00 fee for a deposit stated anywhere nor does another hotel charge that, also the front staff dont help one bit with those of a disability. We asked for a 1st floor and got 2nd, got into the room to find it unbearable hot in the room and smelled like weed. Asked to move to another room they gave us 3rd floor. Try to advise them of disability and they didnt even try to fix it said they were all sold out. After that wanted to use the hot tub, boy thats a mistake. Coldest thing I've ever seen. Temp was 98. I brought my own digital thermostat and thats what it read. Even the pool was very cold and no one was down there. Went to front desk. She could not do anything to resolve that issue and no staff nor maintain on the weekend. Then wanted to take a bath and the handle fell off. Tried to bring thay to her attention and still nothing can be done. Please stay away from this hotel. Its the worst place to come too. The smell the staff, the treatment is just too much to bear for on person. Will be asking for a complete refund

PROS: Location- 10 mins MOA, 15 mins ValleyFair, 20 mins Target Centre. 2 mins to Trader Joes and Target is 8 mins away. Reasonable price, good basic buffet breakfast (eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereals and breads, juice, coffee) Clean (with some dirty corners, scuffs, wear and tear to be expected at this price range) Newer TV, microwave, mini fridge, USB ports. Temp controls worked, nice staff, easy check in CONS: lobby smelled like weed all 3 days, pool and hot tub is a bit scuzzy and so full of chlorine your eyes burn and skin wrinkles in 10 mins. Doors propped open so anyone can walk in. Some clientele loud- rates are cheap enough that it might attract a bit rougher crowd than a high end hotel but nothing major. Felt safe enough. Beds are basic and a bit hard.
