Pot and smoke smelling hallways, commanding attitude to guests when you are in hospitality industry is a bad idea.. locks don’t open even if seperated from devices, room fridge non stop sound , gets too hot when at 67. So basically bad experience, stay out of desperation. Else it’s unsafe and unhygienic

Not a top hotel. In the two-queen room we stayed in, one bed was significantly lower than the other, indicating it was replaced. And this specific bed you felt only springs. The pillows were like laying on a flat towel. The pool and hot tub we used for about ten minutes before our eyes were burning to the point where our family and many others left. Lastly, the front door was manual only and not even a handicap accessible button to open. Very frustrating with our hands all full in the snow and ice. Thankful for an elevator to the third floor. Would definitely spend an extra $40-$50 for an upgraded experience.

The hotel was clean and inviting. The front desk gal Jennifer was so accommodating, she helped us during our stay.
We were all very happy, and would come again for sure!!
Great customer service, and friendly, and kept the place looking great, especially during the holidays!!

Phones don't work, even had to crawl under the desk to plug the phone on and it still didn't work. Beds are waaaayyyy too soft like the springs are shot. And the proximity to the train tracks is a little annoying since you can hear and feel the train going by. Pool is nice and warm, hot tub is nice, but the floor in the pool room hurts the feet, and it's incredibly warm in there. The staff are very friendly though.

My family and I (& dogs!) stayed at GrandStay Hotel & Suites last weekend and what a breath of fresh air. The hotel is decorated for Christmas with hot cocoa bar, candy canes, and even a place for kiddos to write letters to Santa.
While the beds were not as firm as I would have preferred, the hotel as a whole was a wonderful surprise. Friendly staff, very clean rooms, great breakfast, and a warm pool! They spent time on the little things to make this a pleasant stay - something that I have not experienced in quite a while. We will not forget this! Special thanks to the entire staff - you all created a relaxing environment that was wonderful. We will be back!
