  The best hotel experience I've had in a very, very long time!! No foreign employees or weird smells! Just wonderful, good old-fashioned American service with friendly, smiling faces at the front desk and extremely clean rooms and common areas!

  We checked in on March 31st. 2026 and was greeted by the most upbeat and positive clerk I have had in a long time. Lots of smiles and laughter from this lady. Next day I asked for the manager and told him that she is definitely a keeper because she treats all guests with this positive attitude. He told me her name but lost it but I wanted to shout out to her. Not sure if she will remember the red trailer with the lamborghini golf cart inside. Even if she does not remember us we will sure remember her.

  Dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed at. DO NOT eat the breakfast here. Gym is disgusting, rooms not stocked properly. Overall gross.

  We were passing through Albert Lea today during the winter blizzard. We’re trying stopped in and got a hotel room. Every staff member we interacted with on the phone or in person was just the most hospitable and friendly people. Everyone was so warm and welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay so pleasant. I recommend staying here. You will very well taken care of. And the location is great right off the highway and conveniently located to 24/7 gas and food.

  I made a same-day non-refundable reservation through the IHG app and received a confirmation. When I arrived, the hotel refused to check me in because I’m a local resident. This policy was not disclosed anywhere during the reservation process, and the only communication attempt was a missed call with no voicemail left. The reservation wasn’t canceled until I showed up at the front desk. Travelers should be aware that even a confirmed, non-refundable reservation may not be honored here if you have a local address. Policies like this should be clearly disclosed before booking. After this experience, I will not be doing future business with IHG Hotels & Resorts.
