We had to return four hours later and were finally checked in without a room key — the front desk attendant had to open the door for us each time and was not courteous or helpful. The floor was dirty, the AC did not cool, and when I spoke with the manager on Monday morning, she minimized the situation instead of offering a solution. That first night I couldn’t rest properly because I felt unsafe knowing there was no functioning key and that someone at the desk could accidentally open our room. I expected better standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism from an IHG property.

Vinyl plank flooring which I prefer over carpet. The strange thing was the entry lights. You need to put your key card in to turn them on, not so unusual in European hotels. What as strange was no switch at all for those lights OTHER than the key card, and then the key card did not control all lights in the room. Breakfast was decent. Not a huge selection, but enough hot and cold options to be acceptable. A good option for the price range it's in.
