  This was our second time staying at the new Staybridge Suites in Woodhaven, MI. Our stay was for leisure. This was, by far, the Best Hotel stay my family and I have ever experienced. Upon arrival, the front desk person was nothing short of amazing to not only me, she was kind, patient and genuine to my three kiddos, as well! BONUS! Through the evening and night another front desk person, Naira was above and beyond kind to all of us, too! In the morning, a wonderful breakfast is prepared by someone named, Alexis. She personally, went out of her way for each of the guests to have thee best start of their day!!! The housekeeping of the rooms, and the hotel in its entirety is, flawless! The pool is very warm! The prices are great! Location is great! Thanks so much, for a great stay and for showing my family, perfection!

  Extremely Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend!!! I’m writing this review after an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional experience at the Staybridge Suites in Woodhaven (Detroit), Michigan. My husband and our 12-year-old son arrived to check in during a snowstorm at 8 PM. The room was fully paid for and there was already a card on file, yet the receptionist, Lyndsey, refused to check them in because I (the cardholder) was not physically present to cover the $100 incidental fee. Despite my husband having the same last name, offering to call me on the spot, and me giving verbal consent, offering to send a photo of my driver’s license, and even reading the credit card number to her to confirm identity, Lyndsey refused to work with us in any way. She was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to problem-solve. At one point, when we expressed understandable frustration, she told my husband, “I’m not going to let you yell at me. I will just cancel your room.” Instead of offering solutions, she escalated the situation and seemed more interested in being combative than helpful. Because of her refusal to use common sense or basic customer service, my husband and son were nearly turned away in a snowstorm, two hours from home. We ended up having to inconvenience a friend to front the incidental fee just so they wouldn’t have to drive back in dangerous weather. Thankfully, our friend helped, otherwise my husband and child would have been stranded due to Lyndsey’s lack of professionalism and compassion. For a hotel brand that’s supposed to be family-friendly and accommodating to travelers, this experience was completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this location to anyone looking for reliable or respectful service.

  From the immagulate room to the beautiful commons area.The hotel was spotless. As a prior front desk manager to a beautiful hotel.I would say this is probably one of the cleanest i've stayed in in many years.I also would like to comment that the bacon and the breakfast was phenomenal, which is usually not the case in continental breakfast... from the staff to the dining staff to the front desk and the suite a housekeepers.Bravo, you have an amazing team & a beautiful building
