I spent two weeks at this property in February and had an amazing experience with the staff — they truly made me feel welcome. I also fell in love with their chicken wings, which are now conveniently available on Grubhub!

Hotel physically is fine, room was ok. That's the good. We were in town for a Stay and Play hockey tournament. We had reserved a room with 2 queens. I noticed in the app 2 days prior to arrival they had changed us to a king with a pullout. I called and all the manager said is that she has us in a king. We have the confirmation showing the queen. We explained there are 4 of us, but nothing changed. We then get a call stating they have a queen, but TV doesn't work. They said if needed we could use both rooms. Ok sounded like a decent resolution. When we arrived we were again told both rooms would be available to us. After checking into the king we decided we needed the additional bed so no one would have to sleep on the terrible le pullout. We go downstairs to update the manager, and are told that the double without a tv is no longer available, they rented it out.
We get back for the evening and want to watch the Detroit Tigers game 5. We'll no local channels work on the TV. I call to front desk and am told its probably the weather, they should come on. They told me we could watch the game in the lobby, because somehow they get the local channels down there. We waited and the local fox channel never came in, so u go to the bar in the lobby to watch. There was no sound on though. I asked if they could put the sound on for the game, but was told there is no sound on these TV's. I watched a couple innings and went to bed as nothing in this hotel is fixable. Also the local channels never came on, as the weather excuse was just a bunch of BS. I contacted IHG support about the hotel and was told that they called managent and Jaime was spoken to and would be reaching out to discuss a resolution. That since I was still in house that management would solve the issues. But no one ever contacted us about a resolution. Not Tammy ot Jaime who both had been in contact prior to the stay. This place is run like a local motel not a hotel chain.

Overall a fair experience considering all other competitors. I travel constantly .
Web site reservation created errors and for my second night I had to contact IHG . The website needs to WORK if you’re going to provide it to customers.
Room was a premium king suite . The window shades were broken . The toilet was not secured and moved significantly when you used it .
