This hotel has the best staff. We typically stay at Indigo because they are stylish, moderately priced and allow pets though we rarely bring ours. I also like how each one is unique to the area we are staying.

Such a great visit! While I only got names of a couple of the employees that we interacted with, everyone we interacted with were amazing.
Kaylynn (sp?) was smiley and super sweet from the moment we walked in the door. She was also very knowledgeable about the area, which helped us greatly.
Miranda was great as well! Such a smiling face and I think she talked to every guest she saw. When we walked past going to and from the pool (which was also amazing!!), she was making her way through the restaurant talking to everyone in there. She seems like someone who truly appreciated each of her guests as if they were in her own home.
My husband is a coffee drinker and noticed that the room didn't have a creamer that he preferred. He asked the bartender about other options and she was able to get him the creamer he was looking for. Thanks for dealing with my picky coffee drinker!
Check out this morning was hassle-free free with Nicole. A great smiling face early in the morning!
We have done more traveling in the last two years than we ever have. The service and attitudes of the employees here have been the best of all of our travels. Thank you ladies, for the warm welcome. It was much appreciated to be treated like we were staying with friends.

DO NOT BOOK AT THIS LOCATION! Where we’re here to celebrate my cousin with special needs 18th birthday and was treated very rudely by the staff members Ooha and Spencer. My aunt hired some decorators to come set up the room and invited about 3-4 family members just to come sing happy birthday and leave immediately after she also booked 2 rooms to accommodate enough guess who was visiting temporarily to sing happy birthday. Ooha approached us very rudely before us even entering the hotel room assuming we were all staying 1 room and that we will be loud although we came in very quietly and didn’t receive not 1 noise complaint throughout the stay. She did not ask my aunt for clarification of how many guess were staying over night instead she put in the computer that over 6 people was staying in the room and was going to charge my aunt card more money without authorization. Had I not went to the desk and ask Spencer for her name we would not have known. Spencer was also very argumentative and had already formed an opinion on the matter instead of also just asking and confirming how many guest would be staying in the 2 rooms booked! We spent over 30 minutes pleading our case before he listened and adjusted what Ooha had falsely input in the computer. This was unacceptable, discriminatory and very bad customer service I would not recommend this location.

This was unfortunately a very frustrating stay — especially while traveling with a toddler.
I had to move rooms multiple times. Two out of three rooms had non-functioning TVs, and one had a strong weed/cigarette odor. I relocated myself and my child without assistance. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and overall the experience felt disorganized and stressful.
There was also an uncomfortable incident at the bar where a staff member made an inappropriate comment about my education. Management did comp dinner that evening, which I appreciated.
The hotel did apply a $200 discount to the stay, which I acknowledge. However, in their follow-up response, management also stated that I was “upgraded,” even though I originally booked the highest room category available. That was confusing and disappointing to read.
Additionally, I was verbally told that breakfast for two would be included daily due to the repeated room issues — yet I was charged each morning. I am currently seeking a reversal of those charges.
The biggest takeaway from this experience is the disconnect between what was verbally promised and what was later documented. If you are offered any accommodations at the front desk, I strongly recommend getting it in writing before relying on it.
Transparency and follow-through matter. I hope management improves communication and accountability for future guests

We recently stayed at Hotel Indigo in Troy and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The front desk team was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Thanks to our IHG status, we received a complimentary room upgrade, and the space exceeded our expectations — spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained.
The true standout of our visit, however, was Alexis at the bar. Alexis is hands down one of the best bartenders we have encountered at any IHG property. Her hospitality is genuine, her service is attentive without ever feeling rushed, and her drink craftsmanship is outstanding. She has a remarkable ability to make every guest feel welcomed and valued.
We found ourselves returning to the bar specifically when Alexis was working because the experience she creates is that memorable. She is a true asset to the hotel and a perfect example of exceptional hospitality. Thank you, Alexis, for making our stay unforgettable — we will absolutely be back.
