  The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. The place was a mess. I understand they are remodeling but it doesn't have to be that bad. The breakfast buffet was inedible. The sausage was nasty, the eggs were powered and the gravy was terrible. I threw my plate away and got a cinnamon roll. I don't recommend staying there.

  Great staff and they were in the middle of a remodel and staff was dealing well with it.

  Our suite was laid out well. Chair, couch, bed very comfortable. Hotel is under renovation but Marcia, the breakfast hostess more than made up for that. The hot eggs and sausage gravy some of best hotel food I’ve had.

  Pros: Hotel is clean, service is good and the staff are friendly. Cons: Despite being listed as a non smoking property on the IHG website, I smelled cigarette smoke entering my room on the last night of my stay. I booked at this location specifically because it was listed as non-smoking, so this was very disappointing.

  We only live about an hour away and visit here quite often. The hotel is starting to remodel this week, which will be nice when we come back in 2026. FANTASTIC location. It’s right across the street from a stunning view of Lake Michigan, with a couple of picnic tables set on a bluff overlooking the water. For me, that’s the real selling point — and the reason I keep coming back.
