Our well-appointed suites are designed to provide a friendly, warm, and homelike environment. - JFJessica FradyOct 8, 20253.0Most of the staff were really friendly, except one lady who worked the night shift. The rooms were not clean. A group of us stayed here for work and most of our rooms were dirty, my room specifically had food spots on the walls dirty finger markings by the door handle, the kitchen floor hasn’t been scrubbed in awhile it had spilled marks all over it, it’s clear to see the maids just run a wet mop over it and call it good, the carpet had crumbs all over it, I’m not sure it was cleaned before I got there the fridge had food spilled on the top of the door, dirty fingers prints on the door coffee spilled on the counter. Hair in the bathroom sink and on the bathroom floor. The towels in the bathroom I’m sure were not changed before I got there because they weren’t folded they were just hung on the shower bar. I had to ask one make to mop and vacuum my floors. The pillows had a horrible smell to them. The maids defiantly need a good training on deep cleaning the rooms after someone leaves. One staff member over night with red hair, told one person in our group they couldn’t take but 2 creamers to their room, this same staff told me I couldn’t have anymore towels unless I brought down my dirty ones, because the maids hadn’t been in for 2 days. All the other staff was great and the breakfast was good.

Customer service is a lost art but Eugene is still holding the line. Upon arriving at 12:30am after our wedding reception, Eugene greeted us warmly and ensured everything was set up properly. After we got to our room, I was completely surprised at how nice the suite was. Everything you could need was there and it was designed well and was kept CLEAN. An outstanding value of a hotel. Will stay here if I ever needed a room near Detroit again.
