  Nice quiet hotel with alot of amenities. Would have given 5 stars but the hotel put an extra $150 hold on my credit card without my authorization and with no explanation. Just told me the holds would be released in 3 business days. Unacceptable. Thank goodness this is not my primary debit/credit card and I needed the funds.

  The rooms, the service and the location were all EXCELLENT. Hubby and I celebrated each other in room 410. It was perfect! Clean! ......and quiet. We felt like we were the only ones in the entire hotel. Staff appropriately greeted us at the hotel lobby and in the hallway. The room was spacious, very..very spacious. Just like we like it. The bathroom was lovely. The shower was huge, perfect for two. ❤️😍 The entire space was clean, updated, comfortable and was a perfect get away. We definitely will return. Thank you for the Anniversary gifts Springhill Suites. It was totally unexpected and we both appreciate it.

  We really did like this hotel, even though it was kind of a mixed bag. We were greeted by the kindest lady at check in (I really wish I could remember her name). But then a different desk person we dealt with later in the day, was really unkind when we asked for extra blankets, and acted like we were asking for something unreasonable. The lobby and common areas were glistening, and smelled so good. Our room was very clean in most places, except there were some REALLY suspicious stains on the couch and chair in our room (like, WOW). Our suite was huge, modern, and the linens smelled great. The bed box frame was broken, but my husband was able to kind of fix it, so he didn't roll off the mattress in his sleep. It was very hard to get warm in there, and the shower was a frigid experience (it was December in Detroit, so maybe that's just how it goes). We weren't able to get the TV to stream/cast, because it kept asking for a wifi channel we weren't able to access. The breakfast was the real attraction. We were so impressed with the range, quality, and temperature of food. It was the best free breakfast we've ever had at a hotel. For the price of the stay, it was a really strong value, despite some very unpleasant parts.

  When we first arrived the front desk clerk said let me check to see if your room is clean. And when he returned he assigned my 2 keys and we went to the room. The T.V. in the room was mounted on the wall, but it had a lean, so it was facing the floor. So we made him aware of the issue and he switched us to a cleaner room with a T.V. that was properly mounted. Besides that it was a good stay
