    We have used ParkSleepFly with Holiday Inn Detroit Metro Airport by IHG several times for early flights out of Detroit and never had an issue until this trip. In fact, we stayed here in July 2025 and had 10 days of parking without any problem, which made this experience even more frustrating and confusing. We needed 12 days of parking, and because the website was giving us trouble, we called ParkSleepFly customer support directly. They confirmed the reservation, and our receipt clearly stated: “WILL NEED PARK AND FLY FOR 12 DAYS PLEASE ALREADY INCLUDED IN RESERVATION.” When we arrived that night, Sierra told us the hotel would not honor 12 days of parking and claimed they only allow 8 or 16 days. Even after we showed her the confirmed reservation with that note, she said we would only get 8 days and would have to pay extra for the remaining 4. The bigger issue was how it was handled. Sierra was, without question, the rudest person I have ever encountered at a hotel front desk, and it started the second we walked up. There was absolutely no reason for the attitude. She was blunt, dismissive, and kept blaming us for booking through a third party. She repeatedly said we should have booked directly with the hotel and acted like this was our fault. She was also rolling her eyes at my wife, at me, and even at our teenage daughter when she came up to see what was going on. When we asked for a manager, Sierra said there was not really any point because they would just say the same thing. The manager, Gin, was not helpful either. After explaining the situation multiple times and showing the confirmation again, we gave up and accepted only 8 days because it was late, we were traveling with our kids, and we had an early flight the next morning. If the hotel was not going to honor what was confirmed in writing on the reservation, that should have been made clear before we arrived. We would have stayed somewhere else and parked elsewhere for much less. Very disappointing experience, especially because this could have been handled with basic professionalism and customer service.

    On our second day, there was no hot water, no breakfast, the phone did not work. We were not informed, I had to call reception which was very cold about the whole situation.

    Good location, friendly staff and clean place but only the furniture is so dated I wish they would invest some money replacing furniture

    Tired. A nice property that has some maintenance issues. It feels like they are understaffed on the maintenance team. My room had peeling wall paper and black spots on the walls that I thought were bugs but were not. The bathroom water pressure was inconsistent and there were numerous minor but annoying issues. No free breakfast here but a nice on-site restaurant. Exercise and pool areas were both above average with minor maintenance items visible. I think my favorite thing was the pool.
