It was great. This the 2nd time I've stayed here and I'll come again when I visit my sister.

The hotel feels old and poorly maintained, despite some superficial updates. While certain areas look renovated, the overall condition is dated and worn. The walls are extremely thin, making it easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms and outside, which seriously affects the ability to rest. On the positive side, the rooms are cleaned and organized daily, and the breakfast service is good. However, these positives do not make up for the room conditions, which leave a lot to be desired.

Very noisy traffic at night and thin walls (can hear not only car traffic but the neighbour snoring). Run down hotel overall that has been given a surface facelift but a great lobby area for eating and socializing Front desk was wonderful, especially Alvin, however management and operations were terrible to deal with following an error they made that was missed by our manager. It cost is a significant extra cost with absolutely no accountability for the initial error on their part. Very disappointing.

Administration error, with no accountability from the hotel. Our minor hockey team stayed at the hotel for three nights in November 2025 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday). Our team emailed the hotel, to reserve the conference room for three nights (Thursday, Friday, Saturday), as confirmed in the email. The cost per night of $219US. When the hotel provided us with the contact it incorrectly stated the Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. This clerical error was not caught upon us returning the contract. In the end we were charged for an additional night for the conference room (a night we did not stay at the hotel). As we did not catch the hotel error when signing the contact, we thought a fair resolution would be to split the cost of the additional night with the hotel. The hotel flat out refused to take any ownership in their error. Very disappointed that the hotel would not share ownership in their administrative error, thus burdening a minor hockey team with the unwarranted $219 fee. Warning to those searching for a hotel, certainly teams…keep looking elsewhere, as this hotel clearly does not have the common curtesy to admit, at least share accountability in their error. 1 Star.

Lack of understanding and compromise from senior management resulted in a highly disappointing experience for our minor hockey team. Overage charges at the end of our stay, clearly driven by corporate greed, completely ruined what should have been a memorable and positive experience for our players and their families. What was supposed to be a celebration of youth hockey instead turned into a stressful and frustrating ordeal, leaving us feeling taken advantage of and deeply let down. Signed, your neighbors from the Great White North.
