  Everyone that is from out of town and your trying to get a nice clean room go to best western in port huron the manager is really amazing and will take good care of you and your stay

  I came in without a reservation at almost 10 pm. Roger was able to get me a nice room with a view of the river and, because of my status, gave me a drink and a snack, which was helpful since I try not to buy airport food. We had a funny conversation while printing paperwork that I needed for work. The next morning, I was pleasantly surprised to find bacon and smoked sausage for breakfast. I stay at hotels A LOT, and the vast majority of breakfasts are the same scrambled "egg" and steamed (boiled) sausage patties. While I was eating, I tried to get an Uber to a place about 3 miles away. Veronica told me that Uber's don't run in that area and that a taxi was my only option. I had called a taxi, but, even though it was within their business hours, they didn't answer. Then she offered to take me to the place where I needed to go. Those two, in my opinion, went above and beyond to accommodate a last minute late arrival with a place to be in the morning and limited options for getting there. I will definitely stay at this location every other time I find myself in Port Huron for a night.

  A wee bit tatty. Good location just off the interstate. Room was clean, bed comfy. What's up with the toilets so low to the floor? Breakfast was adequate. The place was just meh.

  We recently stayed at this hotel, older hotel that is being renovated. Our room was very clean, staff went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased with our room, they called to make sure our room was satisfactory! We arrived early as we were attending a wedding and were allowed to check in early, and even received a room upgrade! The included breakfast was real food (eggs, pancakes, waffles and sausage)! Kuddos to Veronica who was working on her birthday and checked us in! We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

  At first, the staff is friendly and keep telling us she worked for years. Let us check -in early than normal and appreciate that but then next day for breakfast, kitchen lady left without any notification, food are not enough and no one we can talk with. No coffee either ! People come and go and my family just hang -out expecting someone will show up. From the door, someone came in and my husband asked her if she works here in this hotel. She said yes, and we told her no food to eat exccept breads. She said, its not her duty but she'll do it ... did cook bacon, sausage and eggs . Then later, she called the lady who let us checked in early and upon arrival she went straight to kitchen and slammed the door. We thought she is upset that her kitchen staff left but she is more upset on us complaining about no food even though my husband told her, she should give credit to the lady who fixed the issue. She raised her voiced, yell on us with poitned finger and telling us how she was nice to us for letting us check-in early and we are ungrateful. I was like ???? I felt embarrased because I have my sister and her whole family from UK coming to visit USA for first time and saw her pointing her fingers to us. One by one, the group disappeared and before it get worst I asked my husband to leave. I follwed her to the kitchen and told her, " sorry" ! She offred 50 percent refund and said, no because we're many and beside the other lady took care of the food. I felt relieved but then before leaving the kitchen , she got a phone call and with her loud vice, " nothing, just people bashing out! " -------- that's it! I left and hodl my temper and decided not to come back in this hotel and not to recommend. She came and asking us that they can open the pool for us, I went and see the pool .... newly painted and the pain is peeling off and something in ater like , mo idea not grease but I assume it's from paint. She was sweet but then first, she should not slam the door where costumers are still eating, second, you accepted apology yet overheard on the phone that we are bashing. We don't like hypocisy and we just complain of no one answering, no one is around to talk with about the breakfast. If you bring your whole family here for visit and they are first timer...this is not something you don't want to remember going back ! Will not recomment and with the place.. will go somewhere else. I recommend the Cracker Barrel Restaunrant infront of the hotel though. Something that helps us satisfy from long trips!
