It was kind of disruptive at night. The person who was managing the breakfast cafe was nice. The location was conveniently located near the highway. So, made it easy to get to and from Ann Arbor.

- MMMiGirlSep 5, 20251.0If I could give zero star I would. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my 26 years of sales. I called to ask that they assign me a room away from construction because I have to leave early to drive 4+ hours. I gave my confirmation number but that wasn't good enough, I had to give my IHG number, name, email address that took 6 minutes for her to look up my reservation. She then said she'd check to see if she could put me in a room away from the construction and put me on hold. 16 minutes later I used my work phone to call the hotel, explain why I was livid and my simple request. That person took care of the request in 3 minutes. I then asked to speak with the hotel manager but instead she sent me to the corporate office. Now going on 26 minutes on the other phone. Then someone different finally came back. I explained the situation and asked to speak with the hotel manager. Instead, she proceeded to tell me the counter girl started helping someone else and then wanted to explain her training process, all the while the corporate office can hear our conversation on the other phone. I demanded multiple times to speak with the manager, then she told me it would take a while. Already going on 32 minutes on the phone I waited, asking the corporate girl if she heard the conversation and if she felt that was acceptable, she said no and is escalating my experience promising me a callback. Finally someone claiming to be the manger came on and defended the girls and past the blame by saying I was speaking to someone at corporate not the hotel. As of right now if I cancel my reservation for $189 I'll only get points back. As I sit here waiting again, I'm going to demand a full refund and I don't recommend IHG to anyone.
