  The hotel grounds and rooms are beautiful and we loved having a balcony that overlooked the water. The staff were super nice. However, my son left a half-full can of pop out overnight and when I found it and poured it out in the morning a dead cockroach poured out with it. If you see one, other cockroaches are present and there is an infestation. Thankfully none got into our luggage and infected our house. I hope they have dealt with this problem. When I reported this problem to staff they were not surprised and basically said something to that effect of "that must have been alarming to you."

  Great experience, love the balcony view. Breakfast was good and the amenities are nice. Had an issue with door locking properly, but resolved it with the hotel.

  Exceptional friendly staff, very clean with the best breakfast included. Convenient, with a lake view. Our dogs love it as well!

  Randy at the front desk was very helpful and polite! Happy to help, breakfast was great, room was great snowmobile parking is far from the building making you have to load everytime having to protect your equipment and valuables. other than that, this trip has been amazing. great staff. :) close to the trail.

  I'm reading all the 1&2 star reviews on here and honestly can't believe they're for the same place (makes me wonder if some people's standards are just WAY too high!?). We loved it and would definitely recommend it to others All the staff we encountered were great -- except maybe the lady doing the breakfast who loudly complained that she had to keep going back and wiping up sausage gravy spills lol. The girl that checked us in was fantastic (sorry, I Know you said your name was "Kaylee" I just know how it was spelled). Yes, they're doing some construction. But when do you expect them to do it? Summer is their busiest season, but they also have ample fall and winter travelers as well. Our room was even better than expected. We had a king suite with a kids bunk area. It was even nicer than the pictures made it look. The kids area was actually a separate room with its own (non-locking) door which we weren't expecting but was great for privacy. We were on the 3rd floor directly above the pool and it was SO quiet! The only noises we heard were other room doors shutting occasionally. The pool and hot tub were awesome. The view of the frozen lake and ice formations from the breakfast area was breathtaking. The breakfast had something for everyone. I appreciated the variety of protein choices (Greek yogurt, several variations of eggs, sausage, peanut butter), there was also fresh fruit, pancakes, muffins, bagels, oatmeal, cereal, and their "famous" cinnamon rolls. I will say, we stayed two nights and didn't know they automatically give you housekeeping in between unless you specifically ask them not to (most places we've stayed recently you have to ask for housekeeping if you want it). So we fealt bad the housekeeping guy tidied up our room and changed our bedding when he didn't need to.
