We booked two adjoining rooms with a specific bed setup a month in advance to accommodate our family and babysitter. Upon arrival, we were told our rooms weren’t the types we reserved and were placed on different floors. They were able to get two rooms next to each other but not adjoining and still not the room types we had booked, which left us with a very impossible sleeping situation. We had to purchase an expensive baby monitor and I had to forego many of our plans because our sitter couldn’t safely watch the kids in separate rooms. Both rooms had broken blinds, missing towels, and dirty fixtures. Staff seemed unprepared and like they were setup to fail, we asked for more towels (there were only four between our two rooms and we have a family of 6) and were given hand towels and told that was all they had. No extra linens in the room and no offer to bring anything to us, one pillow available (we had a sleeper sofa so having no blankets or pillows in our room was crazy) we called and asked the front desk for things but always had to go to the desk and remind them because we never got anything we asked for, then we had to walk things back to the room, which is not ideal with 3 small children. The people working were nice, but not apologetic for any inconveniences and no offers to make any of it right. Seemed like they wanted us to figure everything out despite most of the issues being on their end. We did have one issue (an accidental spill in the hallway) and when we went to tell someone, they came out and said “yeah I don’t know how you’re gonna clean this up…” We asked for a broom and then got to cleaning it. It was a little bizarre, especially because we were more apologetic for the accident that we took care of than the hotel was for a ruined weekend with zero solutions. We paid for two nights and left after only staying one night because it was so miserable. I will add, the woman working the hotel breakfast area was wonderful. She offered to help us with a high chair and cleaned our table off. The front desk staff were nice, but I don’t think they were set up for success by management.

Holiday Inn Express and Suites are our preferred hotel and they seldom disappointment. This location was surprisingly different. The room was spacious and most the of amenities were well maintained. Most of the issues were small but there were surprisingly many. We needed to use the self service laundry which they had and was not working. In the room: toilet seat broken, shower dirty, missing hair dryer, no body wash in shower, and only three tissues in the box. Breakfast was good, hot and well stocked except for the orange juice concentrate out, was replaced in about 10 minutes.

I was quoted a price thru expedia which was 60 lower than i was charged per night and charged a deposit without my knowledge. Too bad I was too exhausted from my drive thru 200 miles of stopped traffic due to various accidents to notice that the price I had made a reservation for on expedia was not being honored.

Arrived at 6p. Went to room, not cleaned. Forced to wait in lobby until cleaned, wouldn't switch rooms. Although Nathan was very apologetic. The previous review about the elevator making you dizzy is true. It's also very slow and sounds like it's about to break. Not the cleanest and theres just annoying things. One being the fridge set up with the hinge on the right instead of left so you can't open it with being a master in yoga. It's adjustable just not done. Half a rool of TP. They don't have enough towels for the hotel so you have to get lucky to get some. TV setup is poor. Channels are different depending on what room you're in. TV guide menu etc is bad even if it was from the 90s. Breakfast was OK, sausage buscuits, waffles, cereal, no bacon tho. Parking is OK. Pool room is about 95f and stings the eyes. 2 min from i75. Fast food close by. Pay Washer dryer on site.

I was hesitant to book any hotel in the Toledo area given the recent reviews about dirty rooms, so we booked in Monroe and the two rooms we had were very clean and the front desk workers were both very nice
