  Stayed here 2 days last week, found this little guy scurrying around as soon as I checked in. The bed shakes anytime anyone leaves a room and their doors close. I checked out early and headed home when about 3.5 hours away I realized I left my airpod pro 2's in the room. I called about 9:15 am to talk to the staff to see if they could recover them for me. At first, Candace, the front desk manager told me there was nothing she could do. Then she put me on hold and came back and said I could send a prepaid package for them to send them to me IF they were turned in by housekeeping. I called back the next day and big surprise they weren't turned in, I tried asking a few questions and she ended up hanging up on me. Apparently they couldn't send a competent person up there to secure them and whoever cleaned the room is just allowed to steal my property. Absolutely terrible service and no compassion just like the previous reviewer reported! Oh and it was $170 a night after taxes and fees to have this horrible experience!!

  Make sure that when you stay here that you inquire to ensure that the pool is functioning as they do not advertise it online this pool was closed on the day we came with no prior notice or warning. We went there with children hoping to have the pool. Then our room itself was miserable because the entire night in room 2019 the air conditioner sounds like a pair of shoes in a dryer and if you don't have it on it's so hot you can't sleep. At the room rate that was paid the experience should have been better.

  I had booked my hotel 2 days before we checked in. So I reserved a room 2 days ago. I was going to take my grandbabies swimming and just to have a fun evening. But when I got to the hotel the lady told me the pool was down. I said well the pool is the only reason we came . She told me we could use the pool next door. I had no interest in going back and forth between the hotels with 2 small children. The lady was really rude and was not helpful or even trying to be. I was rude back to her but I was so upset. She told me she tried to call me to tell me the pool was down and when I asked what number she tried to call she got my receipt and said “oh it’s just all 8’s” 88888888 So that upset me more because obviously she didn’t try to call me. She said that I could go to the hotel next door but I’d have to go over or call them myself. She did not offer a solution at all. If when I got there was like oh I’m sorry the pool is down, let me help you in calling the other hotel. But she just told me I had to go over there. She got really immature with me and told me to leave. I said I need to figure out what to do since I already paid for the room but she just said ok I’m calling the cops. And she literally called the cops. I wasn’t yelling but I was talking loudly and I was being kind of rude but to call the cops?? I had 2 small children with me. I never leave bad reviews but I thought it was important you got the whole story. Even the police officer said “ Not everyone should work in customer service” So I had to then drive to Battle Creek to get a hotel room after spending about 45 minutes on the phone to get a refund. I didn’t even realize I booked through a third party. I’m just really disappointed in how I was treated and the lack of compassion your employee has. We had just got pizza before we came there so it was cold and yucky by the time we got to the next hotel. I think you need to teach your employees some problem solving techniques
