It was nice stay until the elevator broke down on the first of a three day visit. My husband is going through chemo, I'm disabled and we travel with our dogs, so having to go up and down the stairs, numerous times day and night, made it a very hard experience on us. We asked to be moved to a first floor room and were told that they would make note of it but they were fully booked. When checking out, we asked for a small concession for the lack of a working elevator (just a percentage, not a free night or anything drastic) and were told no. I understand the elevator breaking down is not necessarily within their control but offering a small appeasement or even to fulfill the request to move to a different floor are both very easy and perfectly reasonable customer service concessions. The housekeeping staff, more specifically Shanee, was more accommodating to how difficult it was for us with the elevator being down than the front desk. (Although the third shift guy working on Wed, October 22nd, did offer to walk our dogs at 2am - above and beyond).
This Holiday Inn Express is the worst IHG hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The WiFi is a joke, the cell service is terrible, the phone in my room doesn’t work, the breakfast and its area are lacking, the gym is pathetic, both the hard copy TV guide and the TV guid channel are incorrect , and my door won’t lock unless I push it closed because it gets stuck on the frame. Oh, and all the bath towels have a slight yellowish tint which is absolutely disgusting.
I’ve stayed in IHG hotels 187 nights this year all over the country, and I’ve never seen a Holiday Inn Express with this many problems. I’m calling corporate to report the issues and will also leave a review. Also, my checkin experience was not like other IHG hotels. My status was not recognized.
I’ve spoken to some of the staff about the problems, and they share my concerns. For instance, one staff member told me they’ve brought up the WiFi issue multiple times, but it keeps getting ignored. This suggests that ownership isn’t being informed about the ongoing issues or doesn’t care. I even wrote an email to the hotel but no reply.
I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone. If I didn’t need to be close to my job, I’d leave right now. Needless to say, I won’t be staying here again if I ever have work in the area.
This is anything but a 4-star hotel. Not sure why it says it is a 4-star hotel on Google maps but that needs to be changed immediately. Ask AI what it takes to be a 4-star hotel. This hotel is anything but that.

This place sucks. The WiFi is terrible. You get no service in the building. There’s no hot tub. They say they have spare toiletries but claim they are out of them all if you ask for any. Stay at the other place that shares a parking lot, it can’t be any worse than this.

Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Good location and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The wifi didn't work and many basic cable channels were unavailable.
